Honestly I don’t know much about McCarthy aside from his communist hunt.
I just have no interest in games. If Trump has something, he needs to release it so we can move forward.
Actually he did have info. but then he started to grandstand. The sad part is it took the fall of the soviet union to reveal the true facts. When KGB files were finally opened it revealed that there were many communists agents in the U.S. government.

Joe McCarthy made a lot of outlandish accusations which were ignored (some) or investigated (some) and were found to be nearly 100% correct, some as recently as 1994 or so (Vedona papers or something like that, intercepts of Soviet communications).
Joe McCarthy never failed to deliver on a single name. Not a single person ever brought before his House or Senate committee/subcommittee was ever accused unjustly of communist ties, though several lied very convincingly. But those claims of innocence were blown with the revelations of Soviet archives (Venona papers, etc.) and wink-wink retractions during the 60s when small-c communism saturated academia. The U. S. Senate, along with Ike’s entire administration and remaining family and the U. S. Army, owe him an abject apology and censure-revocation.
Trump is no Joe McCarthy, but just about anyone is better than what we’ve got in the White House.
Since Obama is hiding his all the records of his background, and the media has made up a story about his past (i.e. he was an excellent student) that is not supported by documents...
It will be Trumps word against Obama’s word. And it is not going to sit well with the public to realize he’s hidden all of his background. They might want Obama’s to prove his claims about his college record like all the other Presidents have done.
