Joe McCarthy made a lot of outlandish accusations which were ignored (some) or investigated (some) and were found to be nearly 100% correct, some as recently as 1994 or so (Vedona papers or something like that, intercepts of Soviet communications).
Even though I am late to the Ball, I am having Vapors with all this positive talk of Joe.
