An American study of the prevalence of multiple partner fertility has found that 28 percent of all U.S. women with two or more children have children by more than one man.
While previous studies have examined how common multiple partner fertility is among younger women, or among women who live in urban areas, the research by Dorius is the first to assess prevalence among a national sample of U.S. women who have completed their child-bearing years.

She found that having children by different fathers was more common among minority women, with 59 percent of African American mothers, 35 percent of Hispanic mothers and 22 percent of white mothers reporting multiple partner fertility.
Women who were not living with a man when they gave birth and those with low income and less education were also more likely to have children by different men.
But she also found that multiple partner fertility is surprisingly common at all levels of income and education and is frequently tied to marriage and divorce rather than just single parenthood.

I have a couple of sister-in-laws like that.When the Hoe Hall of Fame is opened,their statutes will be enshrined the first year.
Sexual perversion is a part of the destruction of society described in “Brave New World”.
And some of them are even married to the fathers. But I’d suspect a lot are not, since women who are not married seem to have kids by at least 4 or 5 men. That probably skews the statistics somewhat.
Been that way for all of recorded history and it follows the same trajectory as the various empires. Newly liberated slaves establish a close knit agrarian society, those which are virtuous have more success than their neighbors and a nation forms around this success. The nation expands, and soon has to fight more and more wars in order to keep up with the demands of a larger, resource consuming populace, until it is an empire... then the rot sets in.

Worthless study since it included women who have children by more than one husband. It’s not uncommon at all for a woman to have children by a 1st and 2nd husband. I have two step-children of my own.
My bet is that it would be much higher numbers than for the women, especially the black and Hispanic men (boys.)
Men having sex with willing women is perversion?
I reckon goats and kids and other men qualify as perversion.

I wondered about the percentage of divorced women with children who remarried and had additional children.
Several women I knew had of course several issues in the first marriages but one of the stalemates was about having more children. The wives wanted more children, the husbands did not want more.
What percentage of the women let their husbands know that they are not all his?

If they were to break this down by race, I would be willing ot bet my next paycheck that the number is closer to 70% amongst blacks in this country.
I guess that makes me a racist for pointing out the reality of the utter breakdown of morals, monogamy and the institution of marriage (which is nearly dead) amoungst blacks in this country.
60% of minority (black) women have children by more than one man.
And they wonder what causes racism and black poverty. There is no way you can have prosperous, well functioning households with those kinds of numbers.

Yes, but almost the same number of blacks, even I think into the 70% area, don’t get married. So they can’t have kids by more than one husband, if they don’t even get married.
And even if you are talking about a second marraige, even those tend to be more financially unstable than a long term one on one marriage. Due to alimony, child support, the temporary (sometimes) division of a household.
BOR is right on this. He misses an awful lot of stuff, but this he is right on.

I’m not familiar with BOR’s take on this, so I can’t agree or disagree. I’ll have to take your word for it.
My only contention with the story itself, was that second marriages are common, and nearly as detrimental as children out of wedlock. The study made no effort to separate the two.
