There seems to be a tactic used by many here and elsewhere to mock Sarah Palin as some kind of messiah figure because she has a lot of fans. This is not only wrong, this is disgusting.
Sarah Palin has never presented herself as an Obama type figure that wants to be seen as a savior. She has been polite and decent on the national stage. She has treated people around this country very good in her time on the national stage.
Yet, some people talk about her as an object or a piece of trash. We have someone around here who calls Sarah Palin "precious" and another person who calls her "Minnie Pearl".
I want some of those out there who mock her on a daily basis to stop and think... Sarah Palin is real human being. And how would Sarah Palin treat you ?
Here is a woman who never had to serve in government, she did by choice. She doesn't have to fight for our country on the national stage, she is doing so by choice. I don't think anyone can question how much Sarah Palin loves America. She loves our troops. She is one of us. She is right on the money with most of her positions on the issues. She sued the federal government so that we could have a right to drill in ANWR for goodness sake. How big of a help would that be to this country if we could use our own energy resources ?
So please, somebody tell. What did Sarah Palin do to be mocked ? What did Sarah Palin do to be mocked as a sock puppet on this site ? What did she do to deserve the hate ?
Again, Sarah Palin is a real person who is a patriot who loves and her country.

Most people on this site admire and respect Sarah. There are a handful of bitter morons in any crowd. Pay them no mind.
Don't get worked up over the FReepers who don't support Governor Palin. They have their reasons. Some of those reasons are valid, and some of them were copied and pasted from the Huffington Post.
Remember though, that Sarah still has to go through the primaries like every other candidate and prove herself. Nothing should be handed to her and she shouldn't be treated any different.
Interesting thing, is that these people criticizing her say that she has no business running. She should run the RNC, or raise funds for other candidates, or run for Senate. Well, if she doesn't have a chance at the presidency, then why not let her prove herself? Let her run and let her fall flat on her face if she can't make her case.
But you're right. Sarah has a servant's heart. She is the epitome of the citizen politician, and has inspired countless others to run for office as well.
It comes form really crappy, hateful people.
This country is full of them, and so is the rest of the world.
What she did to deserve this hate was not advance their agenda.
You are either with them, or you are against them.
If you are with them, then they will forgive anything. If you are aginst them, they will destroy you with anything that can be used.
They are the enemy, and they must be defeated utterly.
I’ve no doubt she knows who the Messiah is...and that it isn’t her OR Barack Obama. Those who hate her appear to be irrational. Perhaps it’s all part of Palin Derangement Syndrome (PDS), but more likely they simply hate her Messiah.
Where does it come from? A few places:
(1) Cabalist (the new Journolist).
(2) Daily Kooks, DUmmies, and the rest of the nutroots.
(3) Romneybots.
In other words, mock those idiots. Then ignore them.
I like Sarah for the most part. I find her annoying at times. But you are right, her heart is in the right place and she doesn’t have to do what she is doing for conservatives.

The people accusing Sarah of wanting to be worshipped are merely projecting their own fellation of Obama.

Don’t worry about the idiots. They take their garbage from the Daily Kos and DU..I wouldn’t be surprised if some of them are closet liberals because its not thing to disagree with her, but some here(I think you know who they are, their names are not worth repeating) have absolute hate for this woman, just like the liberals have. Makes me wonder their
“Real” motives. I can understand disagreeing with her on a particular person she endorses, or if she should run for President. I have no issue with those who would not vote for her, that’s fine. They can vote for whoever they want, but the hate, its something I would hear from a progressive, NOT a Conservative. I don’t care how much a person may disagree with her, but her heart is in the right place and like Ronald Reagan once said, “Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican.” Instead some are trying to destroy from within, its wrong. We have to fight the REAL enemy, Obama/Pelosi/Reid, that should be our focus
Haha, they say that to get your goat. Usually to get a Palin thread off the topic of whatever Sarah’s doing or saying. Secondly, it’s to marginalize supporter’s opinions. Tactics, tactics. All tactics. Just pop on a thread and mention ‘McCain’. It’s very ‘Journolist’.
The tactics should be pretty familiar and old to Sarah supporters by now. And quite boring.
It's called projection: you project your own faults onto your enemy. The Left literally worships at the Church of Obama. They really can't believe that normal people (bitter gun and God clingers) don't do the same in their own way. They believe we must all "worship" somebody simply because they do.
I mean, look at your screen name, and tell me that you aren't “worshiping” her to some degree.
I wasn’t talking about you. I was talking about a few others that I have seen. I don’t worship her, are you kidding. I have disagreed with her on many things. I just think it’s wrong for some to just demean her in the way I have seen. If you thought I was referring to you I apologize I was NOT.

I don’t think she expects anything to be handed to her.
I do think she will scatter her primary opponents like a freight train hitting a teletubbie picnic.
They say “Worship” to demean her supporters. I don’t worship ANYONE except God. I’m a die hard Laker fan, doesn’t mean I worship them(By the way, don’t worry, we will take care of LeBron for you, told you he was a fraud!). Obama supporters worship, he can do no wrong in their eyes, they have orgasms when they see him. I support Sarah Palin, doesn’t mean I agree with everything she does. When she endorsed McCain, I wasn’t happy about it, but I knew she would do it so I got over it. Wasn’t a huge shock, doesn’t mean I was “YAY she endorsed McCain, happy dance time” I was disappointed but what can ya do, she is her own person, makes her own choices, her own decisions.
Sarah Palin sent me a REAL SIGNED letter, after my parents sent her a letter and picture of me at the 4/15 TEA party in Ft. Lauderdale.
I WAS SHOCKED TO GET A LETTER FROM WASILLA ALASKA I TELL YOU WHAT.
