It isn’t a grudge. That post of yours made me LOL! You love nothing more than the fight.
You said you are a poster that I don’t know. Ha! I think even you would remember someone who called you a racist for no reason...just as people who don’t agree with this admin are called the same name.
You weren’t participating on a thread on which I read your posts, and felt the need to comment and ping you to said posts?
Okie dokie!
Sorry for following forum protocols in pinging you on a thread in which my reply was directed at one other, and you...and you are both on this thread.
Oh, wait!
No I’m not. lol

So please, somebody tell. What did Sarah Palin do to be mocked ? What did Sarah Palin do to be mocked as a sock puppet on this site ? What did she do to deserve the hate ? That's easy. What she did was to be someone who does not conform to the accepted vision of what female right-wing small-town conservatives "should" be like. People do not hate her so much as hate what they assume she is. Utterly dehumanising of course. You'd think the "progressives" would be more awake to this kind of thing - they complain about it being applied to them enough. But then people do like their boxes.

Palin is not above criticism, and she doesn't think so--only her Superfans do. Her critics are not engaged in some religious bashing--trying to make it seem so is a perfect example of the "worship" you're so bugged about. I am with you all the way. I call them the "Palin Protectorate". You can see it on this thread. They mock those that "worship" Obama all the while...
I like Palin but I am not ready to throw myself at her feet.

I like Palin but I am not ready to throw myself at her feet.Exactly. She's a politician, and it's just as legitimate to question her positions and actions as it is to question those of ANY politician.
Her Superfans claim it's hate to treat her with high standards. It's the complete opposite of how a conservative-minded person should be treating a politician. Questioning their positions is the height of patriotism; screaming "Hater!" and "Troll!" because someone dares not worship is no different than the worship of Obama--no different at all except in the focus of nonthinking, unquestioning worship, and I simply won't bow down to anyone (no matter how people want to relabel it).
And once again--PALIN isn't the one demanding this.

What do you think of this progressive (liberal) online community ‘netroots nation’ voting for Sarah to be GOP presidential nominee? She beat the others by a landslide.
In a straw poll of attendees at the Netroots Nation conference in Las Vegas over the weekend, 48 percent of respondents said they'd like to see Palin as the Republican Party's 2012 nominee. Rep. Ron Paul came in a distant second, at 11 percent. Ten percent voted for Rick Santorum, 9 percent for Mitt Romney and 8 percent for Newt Gingrich. Seven percent chose Tim Pawlenty, while 5 percent said Mike Huckabee, and 1 percent said Rep. Mike Pence.

I want some of those out there who mock her on a daily basis to stop and think... Sarah Palin is real human being. And how would Sarah Palin treat you ? In other words: What Would Sarah Do?

Here is a woman who never had to serve in government, she did by choice.

Until she quit....by choice.
And, I'm sure you know, no elected official has to serve, they all do by choice, including obama, rangle, kerry, reid, pelosi...so what exactly is your point? Should we give all of them a free pass on everything too?

"When was the last time we had a possible conservative candidate?"
The question is whether we will have a conservative candidate again. Some of us see Sarah as more of a populist than an ideological conservative. She may be a decent person with some conservative instincts, but I do not see her as a conservative leader. She would better serve the conservative cause as a media figure.

"She never supported socialized healthcare. Mitt Romney did."
No, but she did support the Law of the Sea Treaty, which is every bit as bad. She also supported TARP, which some Tea Party groups are rightly taking out GOP types for such support. Why must so many frame the choice as one between Mitt and Sarah? I do not want to see either leading the conservative movement. I like her and would like to see her continue her media career, but DO NOT want to see her become the standard bearer for conservatism.

LOL!!!!Yet you say....She would better serve the conservative cause as a media figure. Why would you want her to help the conservatives?
Sarah could wear any hat, she's that qualified. It's up to HER - she defines who she is - not you or anyone else.
So now we heard YOUR opinion - her supporters and her book tour bonanza showed a different opinion. Your's lines up w/the media and RINO'S- anyone but Sarah.
GO SARAH!

You comparing Sarah to those who would tear your teeth out if they could to hold 'their seat' or even lie to get it?

The original poster wants to give palin a bye because she entered politics "by choice". I simply pointed out the glaringly obvious fact that so did obama, pelosi, reid, et al...but you knew that (one would hope).
