With Halloween only a few days away, discussion of the paranormal is a staple of the creepy holiday each year.
Anybody have any interesting anecdotes about their experiences with hauntings, Ouija boards, and ghosts? Even aside from the typical Halloween characters, have you encountered situations that you think were direct interventions from God?
Anyone want to share their paranormal stories?

I don’t think there is anything inherently wrong or evil with natural human abilities like precognition, clairvoyance, or psychokinesis. And it is quite common for people to have out of body experiences. I see no conflict between developing these skills and living the way Jesus encouraged in the bible. In fact, I bet He was pretty good at them...

Gives new meaning to “The Burning Bed.”
Just grew up in mid-west Minnesota. Best explanation I got about the burning leaves was that there was underground peat fires that tend to burn for year.

“1. Ex-girlfriend’s friend had a Ouija board and played with it over a span of weeks. The board gave the ex’s friend some creepy answers. Owner of board freaked out and burned the board successfully, but the board screamed while it was being burnt.”
I was talking to my sister about how crazy/evil our mother was (she died 12/4/08) trying to figure out why she was the way she was. Sister said mother had a ouija board and they got scared one time over some crap it said so mother went outside and burned it. Sister said it was the freakiest sound of screaming so I totally believe that. I stay away from stuff like that.
