Is it the end of July already? The best part of the season on tour is upon us with the FedEx playoffs just 3 short weeks away.
Lets hope the weather in south central Michigan is better this week as Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club in Grand Blanc, Michigan is the host this week for the world's best.
So Tiger, Anthony Kim, last week's winner Nathan Green, Jim Furyk, US Open champion Lucas Glover and others will try and tame the Hills course...
Late breaking news via Golf Channel and ESPN.....Phil Michelson, who on Friday's Fox and Friends indicated he would be back on tour "soon" has committed to play in next weeks WGC Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio. It can be assumed he will also play the following week in the PGA Championship.....
Also, although not much of a suprise, GM will end it's sponsorship of the Buick Open after this weekend.

early tee time tomorrow morning to beat the heat.
Not to mention the upcoming PGA Championship at Hazeltine August 13 - 16......
Injury, age working against Tiger. If he does not win this one, look for an ugly exhibition of cussing and club throwing.
I enjoy watching him. He is very talented, possibly was the best ever. I think due to burnout, family, other interests, he is in decline, and can't deal with it. His tantrums are disturbing, but he is still near the best, and more eloquent than the Magic negro, even without a teleprompter.
I agree. He's a great golfer, but his club-throwing, cussing hissy fits are hard to watch.
So...do y’all like them new Buicks?
Of course I assumed everyone knew that!!
I’ve always thought Hazeltine as the perfect kind of course to hold a major...
Shouldn’t be all that warm in these parts.
Or were you speaking of your early tee time?
Three wins since recent ACL surgery is struggling?
I’m getting a little irrated with the childish behavior too. The performance at the British Open was especially bothersome.
The club throwing, 4 letter bombs don’t help much. He is the number 1 golfer in the world and will soon break Jack’s Major record. Everyone forgets he’s won twice this year so it’s not that he’s heading in the wrong direction, not yet anyway.
Word is he’s thinking of firing longtime swing coach Hank Haney. That would be a big mistake to me, but then again, I’m not Tiger.
Word is hes thinking of firing longtime swing coach Hank Haney.
What happened to Hank and Barkley? Did he get Barkley straightened out?
I’m not a golfer, but I can’t imagine having tantrums does much for your game other than make it worse.
Not really, although I leased a Rendezvous a while back. Can’t say I had any problems with it...
I’ve since moved on though.....
Ah, not really. He played in a celebrity pro-am not long ago and, let’s just say it didn’t go very well.....
That’s right!! He’s won 3 times this year....
Arnie’s Tourney, The Memorial and AT@T National.
It was funny when he interviewed himself after winning his own event....
Yes, he was really bad at the British Open. That was childish.
I don’t know why, but his caddy irritates me, too. I have no real reason for that, I just don’t like his apparent attitude out there.
Steve Williams, AKA the auto mechanic(cause of the stupid Valvoline logo he wears)is a piece of work. He tries to play God and instead looks the fool....
Mike “Fluff” Cowan was Tiger’s first caddie. You almost never saw any of the crap you’ve seen of late back then. Sometimes I think he does it because he’s competitive. But that excuse is running out of steam, fast.....
early tee time strictly from the expected temps today here. we usually go off at about 10-11am but went at 8am today. great day for golf today, hot yeah but then again just about anyday is a great day for golf....but I do avoid the weekends like a plauge tho.
Seems the number 1 golfer in the world made a statement this morning shooting a 2nd round 63 to jump right into things at -10.
As for things non-golf related, the soon to be laughingstock of MLB, AKA the Cleveland Indians continues their fire sale today trading catcher Victor Martinez to the Red Sox for 3 minor league pitchers, including Justin Masterson.
Tomorrow night’s promotion WAS supposed to be Victor Martinez bobblehead night. We’ll see about that now!!!
