The 'He's Just Not That into You' actress, Scarlet Johansson, says shes completely baffled by the fact that men have nipples.
She quoted in Chicago Sun Times, "The one thing I don't understand about men is nipples. I don't know if there is one aspect of men that I don't understand other than why they have nipples. Honestly, why? I guess it has something to do with the X chromosome.
"What is the function of the male nipple? Maybe we all start as androgynous creatures and then they become men?"

Actually it is not as stupid as most of what she says. Why do men have nipples? They obviously never develop so why even have them at all.

It’s actually a legit question that’s even been studied by scientists, with no good conclusion. Nobody really knows for sure why men have nipples. Some scientists and others may claim to know, but no one can really say that their answer is the correct one.
Why are their mosquitoes or lice?
What’s that old wag about if the opposite sex didn’t have reproductive organs there’d be a bounty on ‘em?
Hey I read about this in the book all the things you want to know about but would never ask. I think it said because we as babies in the womb start out as female, and it’s the release of progesterone that distinguishes the male and female. So it’s just left over from the days where your body’s form didn’t represent your sex, just your DNA.
They’re not sex organs. They’re like arms, legs, eyes & brains. All human have them. They are only altered by hormones.
