Sir David Attenborough has revealed that he receives hate mail from viewers for failing to credit God in his documentaries. In an interview with this week's Radio Times about his latest documentary, on Charles Darwin and natural selection, the broadcaster said: "They tell me to burn in hell and good riddance."
Telling the magazine that he was asked why he did not give "credit" to God, Attenborough added: "They always mean beautiful things like hummingbirds. I always reply by saying that I think of a little child in east Africa with a worm burrowing through his eyeball. The worm cannot live in any other way, except by burrowing through eyeballs. I find that hard to reconcile with the notion of a divine and benevolent creator."
Attenborough went further in his opposition to creationism, saying it was "terrible" when it was taught alongside evolution as an alternative perspective. "It's like saying that two and two equals four, but if you wish to believe it, it could also be five ... Evolution is not a theory; it is a fact, every bit as much as the historical fact that William the Conqueror landed in 1066."

the Lord works in mysterious ways....why not through what we now call evolution.
David Attenborough, for all his services to natural history and his storied good sense, believes in AGW. It’s his blind spot.

So not crediting God with creation is due to a dislike of God says Attenborough.

The difficulty with this position is that, at bottom, evolution relies upon a conviction that random (meaning undirected) mutations arose from a single life form to ascend to every living thing now in existence, whether plant or animal. At least biblical Christianity would contend that the text denies such unattended or unintended events. There is, according to the Scriptures, no such thing.
It is quite possible he does receive such hate mail. There are weirdos everywhere. Getting hate tossed one's way does not mean one's points are valid.

That's because people try to rationalize God using our own finite standards, instead of recognizing how far we have fallen from His.
Don’t misunderstand me to say that the death threats are justified. That is simply unacceptable. The man cannot see because he is prevented from seeing. And he loves it.

That might be well and good except God told us otherwise. For evolution to exist would mean God created mistakes; a world that’s imperfect and getting better. Death and suffering are all good things because it perfects the creation. God’s Word tells us otherwise.
Amen! It also contradicts scripture which tells us that death itself did not exist before the fall. That is why I cannot understand people who call themselves Christian and still adhere to evolution.

Plus, he insists we’re not dealing with a corrupt creation marred by sin.
If I believed that nonsense about evolution, I’d through my Bible away and worship myself.
God never told you anything.
the bible was taken down by men and sometime written down decades and centuries after they were suppose to have happened. You give a lot of credit to sandle wearing sheep herders, that they took down word to mouth stories that were handed down for centuries at being acurately.

After the first two or three pieces of hate mail they become mundane, almost boring. You feel sorry for the ball-less wonder who wrote it because he doesn’t have the bollix to say it to your face.
In fact, you wonder when the last time he had rangi-ruru was, and you conclude it must have been a long time ago, that it was probably manual labor, and that he probably didn’t enjoy it. Then you resolve to wear gloves next time you shake hands with him in case you catch an STD.
(Yes, this morning I just opened another one.)
Mentioning his only reveals Attenborough's need to bring discredit upon those with whom he theologically disagrees.
