CINCINNATI -- Two robbery and shooting suspects appeared in court Friday morning. One of the suspects had an expletive tattooed on his face.

Joshua Isome and Ahmed Tibtani, both 19, are charged with three counts of aggravated robbery and two counts of felonious assault for robbing and shooting two people on Wednesday and then robbing a third person on Thursday.

Isome appeared in court with the “F” word tattooed under his right eye and the word “you” tattooed under his left eye. Isome also has other tattoos on his face.

According to the prosecutor, Cincinnati police also suspect the pair may be involved in other shootings as well.

Isome and Tibtani were being held on $1.25 million bond. Their next court date was scheduled for Jan. 30

Well, there goes this guy's career as an investment banker.

I did a search, this story didn't turn up on FR yet. I got a kick out of it, Will likely send it to my Dad as a "Be proud of your son, it could be worse" story....

Just another example of why I moved my family, and my company, out of Cincinnati in 2000.

This is the ‘norm’ in Cincy these days, folks.

Also, it looks like he’s already capped a couple of people due to the number of “tear tats” under his right eye. Seems that I remember that the “tears” represent a kill. If so, his job in high finance is definitely out the window.

Just makes me wonder what he's thinking. Or not thinking.

Also, I'm sure that it varies from state to state, but (in Maine at least) Tattoo artists are prohibited by law from tattooing the hands, genitals, and above the neckline. Likely to stop this sort of stuff from happening. Of course, there are also laws against shooting people, too, so go figure.

Is his defense lawyer going to argue that one of the multitude of other people with “F*** YOU” tattooed on his face was the real perpetrator?

Good point. Will make a note NOT to tattoo face with something easily memorable before committing a felony. :-) LOL!

from Wikipedia:

The tear tattoo is a symbolic tattoo that is placed underneath the eye. The tattoo has several connotations. Teardrop tattoos usually signify the loss of a friend or loved one. Often, for a male, the tattoo is given to represent the death of a brother.[citation needed] An empty tear signifies that the loved one has been killed or that the bearer has unsuccessfully attempted murder.[1] A filled tattoo signifies that a loved one has taken his or her own life, or was killed by a cause other than murder (car crash, death penalty, etc.) A tear with an empty top and a full bottom means that the wearer has avenged the murder of a loved one.[1]

Tear tattoos, when given in prison, primarily indicate that the bearer has murdered someone, either in or out of jail.[1][2][3] In Australian prisons, teardrop tattoos are often forcibly given to convicted child molesters by other inmates.[4] The tattoo can also be given to commemorate a loved one who died while the wearer was incarcerated.[2]

What a dope this guy is.

How is having F and U tat under his eyes (Where BTW we all make contact when interacting with others) going to help him in....

1. Respecting the Judge overlooking his final sentencing.

2. The Jury whos job it is to find him guilty/not guilty.

3. Peacefully being able to mingle with the prison population.
A place where tension/tetesterol run extremely high.

4. He should have tatted it on his left and right cheek on the other end of his body.

Tattooing expletives on your face really makes a statement. That statement is “I don’t ever want to be employed anywhere for as long as I’m alive.”

It’s the fat, naked, boorish, gay guy technique mastered in Survivor I. (Richard Hatch was straight, and he put on 50 pounds for the stunt, but he was so off-putting to Survivor contestants that they were afraid if they voted against him they’d look petty and irrational on TV!) Give the people every reason to hate you, then challenge them not to base their verdicts on their emotions.

Of course, it might work better if the trial were televised on MTV.
