Assorted Press Report
Saddam Hussein died today of an apparent heart attack. Hussein's death, while in prison awaiting trial, has created a firestorm of criticism of the Bush administration. Senator Clinton has declared that "the American people will not tolerate the McDougaling of Saddam Hussein." CBS News claims it has, in its possession, papers showing a direct connection between Saddam's death and the Bush administration. CBS apparently paid top dollar for the documents, with one insider saying "No pajama blogger will be able to prove these are forgeries." Perversely, some in the news industry are holding their fire. According to Vice President Al Gore, right-wing bloggers have created fear, uncertainty, and doubt among real journalists. "The extra chromosome right will complain that the prison death of Hussein is receiving more coverage than that of Slobodan Milosevic. Of course, there is no comparison." Media expert Jayson Blair agrees, saying uncontrolled news reporting has cast a chill over the professional media. "It's the new McCarthyism. People must return to credible news providers such as the New York Times. It's the paper of Pulitzer prize winner Walter Duranty, and many others whose contributions are still not fully appreciated." Indeed, it may be necessary to rely on Hollywood for the real story. Hollywood stalwarts Michael Moore, Oliver Stone, George Clooney, and others too numerous to name, are already mobilizing the war effort. According to Clooney "We need regime change in Washington. The American people must be educated and we are reporting for duty.
Not even slightly funny.
This is not the place for graffiti.
Don't give up your day job, if you have one.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Hey! I laughed. I thought it was pretty good.
This is doing well in recent polling!
Brings up an interesting point. I guess Slobo wasn't anti-American enough to warrent a media investigation into his negligent homocide by the international court.
