I am Ready to Leave the USA. Any Suggestions of Where to Live? [DU]

DU Thread - I would love to go to Canada but it seems we may be too old by the time we are able to leave in about two years. I am also considering Costa Rica, Panama and Mexico but any civilized non-fascist country will do. Please, any suggestions, help and/or links are greatly appreciated.

I am hoping for no "stay and fight" or "coward" responses. I have two young boys who deserve to have a real future. That is not going to happen in this country.

[thread culled from DU] looks like a few freepers have infiltrated - I see people pointing out that the country they plan to emmigrate to: doesn't allow abortion, isn't Chavez's paradise of Venezuela, provides greater opportunity than the USA, requires one to be employable, prohibits land purchases for non citizens, etc. Perhaps I trolled the DUmpster too long.....

Not Mexico--their immigration laws are cruelly restrictive.
