Donald Trump was a great if imperfect president. By the third year of his presidency, the country was flourishing. The economy was roaring, jobs were up, incomes were up, gas prices were down, and America & Americans were doing fairly well.
But then a funny thing happened on the way to the election. The swamp struck back via Covid and the George Floyd protests. Neither of those was of Trump’s making, but both were utilized by Democrats to steal the election. The Democrats didn’t create Covid or put Floyd in the morgue, but they used the lockdowns and the riots to sufficiently upend American life so that they could steal the election under the cover of chaos.
Those were tests and Donald Trump failed. With Covid he allowed the country to be misled by a snake oil salesman and with the Floyd protests he didn’t send in the troops. It’s easy to understand why he failed, however. Anthony Fauci had been playing a role in America’s various health crises for decades and was an internationally respected doctor. As the media was hyping the idea that the virus could wipe out mankind, Fauci was a voice of calm, reassuring the country that with distance, masks, and lockdowns we would persevere. At the same time, when Trump raised questions about anything that diverged from the Big Pharma / media narrative or suggested we should remember the economic costs of lockdowns, he was attacked, lampooned, and vilified unmercifully. Given the fusillade facing him, it’s not a surprise Trump couldn’t recognize the lies the American people were being served.
On the George Floyd inspired Antifa / BLM riots, Trump failed, and that’s on him, although again, one can see why he acted the way he did. Section 252 of the Insurrection Act “permits deployment (of military troops) in order to “enforce the laws” of the United States or to “suppress rebellion” whenever “unlawful obstructions, combinations, or assemblages, or rebellion” make it “impracticable” to enforce federal law in that state by the “ordinary course of judicial proceedings.”” Essentially he could have utilized the military to stop the violence that cities were unwilling or unable to stop. Trump knew this, saying in early June 2020: "If a city or a state refuses to take the actions that are necessary to defend the life and property of their residents then I will deploy the United States military and quickly solve the problem for them." He was pilloried by Democrats for even bringing up the idea with Pelosi stating: "But there is no reason for the U.S. military to be called out for this."
Trump chose not to likely because he knew Democrats would brand him a tyrant or dictator if he did, despite the fact that FDR, Kennedy, LBJ & Bush 41 used troops for far smaller riots. Democrats did so regardless.
That Donald Trump failed at leading the country through those two disasters is sadly, understandable. Given the savagery and breadth of the relentless attacks on him, it would have taken someone just short of Zeus to have succeeded. The result of that failure was the theft of the election and the end of his presidency.
Fast forward two years. In November Trump announced he was running and he said many of the right things, starting with "In order to make America great and glorious again. I am tonight announcing my candidacy for president of the United States.” Possibly the best line of the night was "But just as I promised in 2016, I am your voice. I am your voice. The Washington establishment wants to silence us, but we will not let them do that.”
That all sounds great, but the question is: Has Trump learned the hard lesson… that the swamp is the Terminator, it will not stop, it cannot be negotiated with, the swamp knows no parties or limits and it must be crushed, otherwise it will kill him, kill his supporters and kill the Republic of the United States?
Recent events seem to suggest that he has not.
First, he endorsed Dr. Oz over a rock solid MAGA candidate in Pennsylvania. Oz was anything but MAGA and went on to lose to a literal brain-damaged Democrat. Trump made other MAGA endorsements, but Pennsylvania’s one of the most important swing states in the nation and he blew it.

nope. I am literaly against the republican party. Because the republican party will take swamp creatures in place of people who do what the people want. Trump is the first president who did what he said he was going to do. The rest just tell you what they think you want to hear. And the party just wants to win even if they put rinos in as president. For me its trump or no one. The uniparty can pick who they want. But i don’t have to play along.
You’ve nailed it.
The party gave us two Bushes, Romney, Dole, McCain. I don’t care about the party. The party uses abortion and other platform positions as sales slogans, forgotten the moment they are elected. The party had no problem with China. The party put in Souter and Roberts. This is not a sports team. I don’t care if republicans win just to do the same as democrats. I am not playing that game anymore.
All of the others are bought and paid for by the Republican establishment and their financial backers.

That is pretty much where this country stands now. This country
is ever changing and has been since Columbus sailed the ocean
blue in 1492.
Take a few moments, sit back and reflect on what the country
call USA looked like back then and what it looks like today.
Who were the rulers/leaders/gov’t and how did the changes come
to be? Who made them, who allowed them, who put the natives
at that time in reservations, who went to Africa and brought
in their Natives to be the slaves, wash/cook/clean and do the
manual labor to grow/harvest the crops, etc? Then came the
mid 1800s and what happened A Civil War. The slaves were
freed and began the process of becoming citizens, educated, and
owners of property and businesses.
Now were are we today. South Americans are coming in by the
thousands to do a lot of the manual labor, having children and
are mixing into the society and will be an impact before many
years at the ballot box and property ownership, etc. JMO and
yours may vary as is your right.
I wish I could have another 50yrs but can't because my time is
coming to a close. Life will be interesting with the new arenas
such as outer space and orbital growth.
Is Donald Trump 2024 Worth The Fight?
Only if you want to keep liberty or have a Mao coat and red book.
NO, he is not. Between all the horrible deep state appointments he never asked to resign, reinstating gain of function research, ordering all the vaccines prior to the first test, allowing the election to be stolen, then collecting $250M for election security which has since been used for other purposes, are more than I can just ignore. Poking us in the eye with a blowout celebration for the new gay marriage law was the final straw for me.
Flaming.Broken.Glass is what I will crawl over, perhaps gasping my last lung full of atmosphere, to vote for this Great Man in 2024.
2016 Trump 62,985,153 45.93% Hillary 65,853,677 48.02% 2020 Biden 81,286,365 51.26% 306 56.9% Trump 74,225,845 46.80% 232 43.1%
Hell, yes AGAIN !!!
VERY SIMPLE.
IF THEY STOLE IT FROM PRESIDENT DONALD J TRUMP, AND I THINK THEY DID.
THEY WILL STEAL IT FROM DESANTIS AND ANY OTHER REPUBLICAN.
VOTE,DEMOCRATS OUT.
Hell no! Let’s all get “behind” that South Carolina Butt Boy instead!
Go check out your buddy TexasGator for a glimpse of your future.
DeSantis' chances are no better than Trump's in 2024, and will probably be worse once the democRAT smear machine comes up to speed. They don't want to run against Trump, so they are pushing DeSantis, and Puppetmaster Soros is doing just that.
OZ Fetterman was about 2 things….
First and foremost an absolute off brand crap candidate names OZ
And second simple math
46% d
39% R
15% I
That’s the PA makeup, to win statewide as an R you need to get every R vote there is to get and win independents by more than 2 to q and/or peel off a lot conservative/moderate democrats.
The carpetbagging turd had zero shot at accomplishing that task.
Did TG get another weeklong vacation?
Happens to the best of us.
“It cost him his reelection”
It didn’t. RAT/RINO cheating cost him his re-election. He got millions more votes than he did in 2016.
What cost him his re-election, i.e., the massive fraud effort, was that he exposed the deep state and was trying to destroy it. Thousands of pols, elites, etc., were endangered; they couldn’t let that stand.
