It's largely about economics. They think they can make more money here, so they come. It's neoliberal economics: outsource jobs while importing labor. That drives wages way down, as well as the quality of life. It's also known as the "Race to the Bottom". Thankfully, many recent immigrants and the next generation are getting sick of this.
