Teleios found that countries that are most free not only demonstrate better average wellbeing, but are associated with numerous economic, legal, security, health, and educational measures associated potentially with enhanced wellbeing for the entire population as well as for women and children. Further, freer countries are much more likely to be Christian. In contrast, countries which persecute Christians are associated with poorer measures of freedom and wellbeing for the entire population. In summary, freedom in Christianity is good for society in promoting a healthy population!

I know what I am about to say will cause irate comments, but here it is – my 2-cents: I spent my young adult days at HK and 47 years in USA since then. I have seen a lot and I have my views of the current situation at Hong Kong, which is rather different from those held by the congress critters and many of my fellow US citizens. To my dismay, many US folks fall into the trap of the lame-stream media, despite the fact that they have been complaining about the disinformation and misinformation constantly spewed on the...

Facebook blocked the account of from posting links on October 15 and said that the ban would last until October 22. The link that Resistance Feed had posted on on its page was about the footage that ABC had posted claiming that it was video from the Middle East from an attack on the Kurds. ABC retracted the story, admitting that the video footage was not from the Middle East and not of the Kurds and/or Turks but rather a video of an explosion in the United States in Kentucky from 2017. So Resistance Feed wasn't posting an unsupported...
  • what is Ranked-Choice Voting (RCV)?

    05/09/2019 10:25:06 PM PDT · by Doreener · 9 replies
About Ranked-choice voting (RCV) is a type of ranked preferential voting method used in single-seat elections with more than two candidates. How it works Ballots are initially counted for each voter's top choice. If a candidate has more than half of the vote based on first-choices, that candidate wins. If not, then the candidate with the fewest votes is eliminated. The voters who selected the defeated candidate as a first choice then have their votes added to the totals of their next choice. This process continues until a candidate has more than half of the votes. When the field is...

At a cursory glance, the only relationship you may notice between BAT, the Basic Attention Token, and the Brave browser is that both are related to advertising. When you take a closer look, however, the two are very much connected. You can use the BAT token with the Brave browser to support websites, and the two were created to seamlessly integrate. Because of this, an understanding of one requires a comprehension of the other, as well.

I must apologize. I do not have the time to make individual apologies to each one of you who I have offended, hence the general post. I have learned a lot in the last several years. Some of the things I've learned: I USED TO vote the lesser of two evils. No longer. God is Sovereign in illumination, as He is in salvation. He doen't give the same light to everyone at the same time. If you're in the dark; blame God, or get wisdom. Lincoln was NOT a good president. One of the most evil, actually. The CSA were...

After regaining a majority in the House of Representatives and the committee powers to investigate and subpoena witnesses that comes with it, Democrats will look to battle President Trump’s crackdown on illegal immigration. Bringing illegal immigrants into the country, and by extension, their votes, might be the only way Democrats could possibly hope to regain the power they crave in the Senate and in the White House. We saw that desire to count illegal votes this past month from Florida Democrats, who argued that a non-citizen should be allowed to cast a ballot. Some would argue this is the single...

President Trump reportedly wanted to immediately and publicly acknowledge that U.S.-led forces engaged Russian mercenaries in Syria earlier this year, killing hundreds of them, but senior National Security Council staff, led then by H.R. McMaster, intervened, saying it would be unnecessarily antagonizing to Moscow. The president is said to have wanted White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders to immediately acknowledged and “take credit” for fending off the Russian mercenaries.

As Russia launches Vostok (“East”) 18, its largest war games since the early 1980s that will involve 300,000 troops, 1,000 combat aircraft, two naval fleets, and 10,000-plus combat vehicles and artillery pieces, NATO is preparing for its own large-scale war games along Russia’s western flank. The Russian exercise, which will involve a 3,200-troop contingent from China and Mongolia, are meant to demonstrate that Moscow’s forces are not only numerous and capable, but formidable and ready defend Russian interests. But so, too, is NATO’s exercise, “Trident Junction,” according to a former Supreme Allied Commander/Europe, Adm. James Stavridis (Ret.) It will involve...

A report on Monday claimed that U.S. intelligence has determined that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has already made a decision to use chemical weapons against enemy positions in Idlib as his forces, combined with Russian airpower, attack the last rebel stronghold following seven years of civil war. The Wall Street Journal [source], citing unnamed intelligence sources, even noted the type of gas Assad has allegedly chosen: Chlorine gas, which was first used in World War I and has the effect of an asphyxiation compound. In addition, according to sources who spoke to the WSJ, President Donald Trump has also reportedly...

The Pentagon ordered a company-sized element of U.S. Marines to conduct an aerial assault drill near a small U.S. base in southeastern Syria called the At Tanf garrison amid new concerns of Russian operations nearby. Reports said that the Russian military has utilized a deconfliction hotline a number of times over the past week to warn the U.S. military of upcoming Russian and Syrian military operations aimed at destroying the last pocket of rebels from the Idlib region.

Analysis: As the Trump administration continues to express greater support for Taiwan, China is exerting more effort in peeling away as many of Taiwan’s remaining 17 allies as it can, as a way to further isolate the island. Moving into regions so close, geographically and politically, to Washington is akin to the Soviet Union moving into traditional U.S. zones of influence in the Caribbean (Cuba) and Latin America during the Cold War.

At least 12 rebel groups operating in southern Syria were given cash and munitions in order to fight Iran-sponsored insurgents who were affiliated with the Islamic State in order to prevent them from becoming entrenched near the occupied Golan Heights,

British authorities on Wednesday indicted two men for the March chemical-weapons attack on a former Russian double agent on British soil. The new details add to the evidence that Vladimir Putin’s regime is responsible, but its reckless methods are the real stunner. Police and prosecutors allege the men they identify as Alexander Petrov and Ruslan Boshirov—almost certainly pseudonyms—arrived at London’s Gatwick airport on Friday, March 2, smuggling the weapons-grade nerve agent Novichok in a small counterfeit perfume bottle. They ferried the chemical on suburban trains and the Tube through central London to a hotel, where nonfatal quantities of Novichok were...

When Trey Gowdy was given his time, Trey Gowdy owns Rod Rosenstein during the latest Congressional hearing. Representative Trey Gowdy (R., S.C.) criticized Justice Department investigators for prolonging their investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election during a tense House Judiciary Committee hearing Thursday.

Highlighted in many of my articles is the blatant hypocrisy of the liberals. Their ideology screams hypocrisy. Their mindset: “we can say and do anything we want, but how dare any conservative have an opposing opinion.” That is a dangerous mindset to have for any political party. So, what are the dangers within the hypocrisy of […]

We know what has Democrats so hysterical. It’s not the separation of kids from their illegal alien parents at the border. They could care less about that. The hysteria is fabricated to get votes. Interview after interview reveals the hypocrisy of the left. Democrats created the border hysteria to get votes; it’s so obvious. If that […] READ MORE-

Senator Edward Kennedy is a murderer. He should not be celebrated as an elder statesmen who has done wonderful things for our country (Go back and see some of his landmark bills and what they have done to this country). July 18, 1969 should be remembered for the loss of life to Mary Jo Kopechne. Mary Jo was what was called a “Boiler Room Girl” for working in, well, boiler room conditions on Robert Kennedy’s 1968 presidential campaign. She was part speech writer, part secretary, but from all accounts a nice girl who believed in Robert Kennedy and his causes...
