The Conservative Treehouse reported this early Tuesday morning, and now it has been confirmed. The FBI has completed its investigation of the incident in which NASCAR has claimed that someone left a noose in the Talladega Raceway garage assigned to African American driver Bubba Wallace. It turns out the “noose” was actually the pull rope for the garage door, and had been tied in the shape of a tiny noose – so people could get a batter handhold on the damn thing – in the garage since last year, when no one could have possibly known that the garage would end up being assigned to NASCAR’s only Black driver:

On Monday, fifteen FBI special agents conducted numerous interviews regarding the situation at Talladega Superspeedway. After a thorough review of the facts and evidence surrounding this event, we have concluded that no federal crime was committed.
The FBI learned that garage number 4, where the noose was found, was assigned to Bubba Wallace last week. The investigation also revealed evidence, including authentic video confirmed by NASCAR, that the noose found in garage number 4 was in that garage as early as October 2019. Although the noose is now known to have been in garage number 4 in 2019, nobody could have known Mr. Wallace would be assigned to garage number 4 last week.
The decision not to pursue federal charges is proper after reviewing all available facts and all applicable federal laws. We offer our thanks to NASCAR, Mr. Wallace, and everyone who cooperated with this investigation.

“The FBI has completed its investigation at Talladega Superspeedway and determined that Bubba Wallace was not the target of a hate crime,” NASCAR said in a statement. “The FBI report concludes, and photographic evidence confirms, that the garage door pull rope fashioned like a noose had been positioned there since as early as last fall. This was obviously well before the 43 team’s arrival and garage assignment. We appreciate the FBl’s quick and thorough investigation and are thankful to learn that this was not an intentional, racist act against Bubba. We remain steadfast in our commitment to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all who love racing.”

Well he got sympathy and 1 million new twitter followers..which is what he wanted..he should apologize for spreading LIES..he could have easily found out that this rope had been there since November 2019, he knew, but he went along with the bogus story to suit his needs

My money’s on hoax.But it doesn’t matter...because,as they say,”a lie can travel around the world before the truth gets its pants on”.Most people will never hear about a hoax.
He’s an experienced driver who knows what pull ropes are and how they look. Instead of trying to inflame racial tensions at this difficult time when cities are being burned by BLM/Antifa, he could and should have said it was just the cut off end of a pull rope. NASCAR ought to ban him for knowingly promoting this horrible hoax, a thing just as bad as the Tawana Brawley hoax.

NASCAR and all of the other teams went along with the hoax. I left a message at the Richard Petty Motorsports website telling them that NASCAR is dead to me.
They should quit calling it a noose. Or at least put “noose” in quotes.
FBI investigates every report of a rope being tied into a loop? Why is FBI investigating even a 13 knot hangman’s noose? Every boy scout learned to tie them back when the Boy Scouts was an honorable organization. The FBI does not investigate every note that says YOU GON TA DIE!!!!
