What should the U.S. Citizens and/or U.S. Government do if the facts of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is proven to be released from China by accident or on purpose?

Not sure but I am tired of high ranking officials not treating it like the Act of War that it is.
I believe it was an accident, their response was inhumane and their Humanity Mastercard should be revoked.
We need to decouple from them.
How about making Wuhan go green?
The wise thing to do would be to disentangle so many of our vital supply chains from China and impose travel restrictions on people from China. Since that would be wise, the Democrats will insist we get back to business as usual with China.
If citizens were intelligent and informed, they could make the necessary changes.
An informed, intelligent population could make goods coming from China undesirable. The lack of demand would shrink the supplier in economic clout. The punishment would fit the crime, because that’s about all that can be done given the current conditions.
I will wait to see what President Trump does, he has been very good dealing with the Chinese, in spite of the hounding criticism for his every move.
How it was released doesn’t matter that much since the Chinese Communists chose the route they chose upon that release, and infected the entire World.
They lied about the release. They hoarded masks, and other PPE. They knew to isolate Wuhan from the rest of China, but allowed their people to travel to Europe, and other lands, which spread the virus outside of China.
Doesn’t matter if it was an accidental release. It’s how they handled it once it was.
Communism and communists have to go. All of ‘em.

There’s never going to be proof that they did it on purpose I don’t think. Call me naive, but I don’t think they did. The potential for unrest there in an economic depression is probably something they don’t want. They are more at risk from Revolution than from warfare with the West.
Trump is already teasing that he knows what happened and how much the Chi-Coms covered it up.
He will likely alert America and set the stage as to why we need to retaliate financially, socially and as a last resort militarily.
At every level, I believe the result will devastate the Chinese.

i think it probably was accidental but after they figured out what was going on they decided to exploit the crisis as an opportunity to infect the rest of the world
if they wouldnt have let the wuhan flights continue outside of china to everywhere after locking it down on the ground i’d think differently
but add in the ccp then blaming others for the virus, typical projection of commies/libs and the global flights continuing thereby infecting other parts of the world, after already hoarding supplies, hiding numbers and info, and isolating the cities
and i think the ccp decided to take the lets infect everyone else approach on purpose
We should take back our businesses, supply chains, people, kick the spies out of the universities, and do our damned best to prevent any further tech transfers and buy time. This will most likely result in seizures of CCP members property in the U.S. which means they will retaliate against American businesses in China. We will absolutely have to help U.S. businesses resettle in the U.S., as galling as that is. The situation we are in is the same as the appeasers of Nazi Germany. The elites liked them too, don’t forget. We need to learn from the mistakes in the run up to WWII.
What is going to happen if all goes well, and if it isn’t too late, is a shrinking back of China like that other great power of the 1600’s Spain. Hopefully the people of Hong Kong will be able to turn that country in a more productive direction that doesn’t end with ethnic cleansing, disease, and repression that would have beyond the fondest dreams of Adolph Hitler.

I think Chinese messed up like the Soviets did and they try to covered up in a similar way. Basically we should all move our factories out of China. Then their economy will suffer and perhaps their population will start to pressure CCP.
Not sure why they didn’t stop flights from leaving Wuhan. Perhaps the CCP is that incompetent. We need to dig more there
