Registered my SS number with the IRS web site OK...lets see on Wednesday...my SS payment day.

Here in CA still waiting for my unemployment and $600 top up payment....I filed about 3 weeks ago with the CA unemployment office ....filed and received acknowledgement of my claim...but nothing yet.

Well, electronic filing makes payout to those who used it automatic. Those who went the snail mail route will take longer. It’s real simple...

Wife and I are on SS - and have electronically filed to have refunds direct deposited - and ours came in last Tuesday - same day as the wife’s SS came in, which was a day early - it usually happens on a Wednesday.

I’m in New York. I think I got it early because I did my taxes last month, around March 3rd then I got laid off around that time as well which allowed me to beat the rush to file for unemployment. Thank God for that relief money otherwise I would have been utterly screwed as I got no savings. With unemployment I had to wait around 3 weeks for the first check, so you should get it soon although I would imagine all the people filing a claim may hold things up. If you have a bank account absolutely make sure you tell them you want the money deposited by direct deposit. If you wait for a paper check it will take months. BTW I did my taxes through https://www.freetaxusa.com/ it cost absolutely nothing and even set up my direct deposit for me.

Ditto here for wife and I. None of our 4 adult children either. Two adult grandchildren did.

for those of us on Social Security, we will have the direct deposit of these funds anyday now IF we have our direct deposit information on file with the IRS for a tax refund.

Go to the IRS web site and enter SS number, date of birth, address and bank routing and account numbers....then you can check back every day to find out when the payment will arrive.....thats what I did.

I have direct deposit of SS monthly....but every year I send a check for the money owed to the IRS...so I dont have a bank routing and account numbers at the IRS, until I sent them 2 weeks ago.

If you don’t get the check then wear your mask and go to the nearest bank and demand a withdrawal.

Great..and me too

What saved my bacon is the ability to postpone mortgage, home equity line of credit and car payments....so I am postponed on all three till mid July....I have all these loans at the local Credit Union.
