To her account or to yours? Or is it a joint account?
To: harpu
Yes. It was in our bank account last Tuesday night.

I filed my 2019 taxes on April 3rd, and it was accepted that day. I did it electronically, and they took the little only I owed them the following Friday.
I did not owe the Feds much, but I am in the range to get a little something. If they go off my 2018 taxes, then I will not qualify. This is because I sold a house in 2018.
Still have not got mine, and I guess it is safe to assume I will not get a check. Oh well...

I manage my withholdings carefully. In effect, after Trump’s tax cuts, I’m better off with the standard deduction which makes that much easier. I owed the feds $17 total.
It’s absurd for the feds to insist they have to have direct deposit information to make the payments. They have the same information for the direct debit, why not use it?
I suspect it is a lawyerly interpretation of the difference between direct deposit and direct debit information.

Anybody out there who still hasn't received the $1,200 stimulus? I'm still hearing there are many SS recipients who don't file with the IRS haven't received a direct deposit or a check.
Hmmmm...
