For what it's worth, other that being more human friendly (the planet could not care less) the pods make a better cup of joe in my opinion.

I overheard two men, young white guys in their 20s at Shop Rite this morning in New Jersey, rambling about how food costs are rising there, and they blamed rich Americans.
I said to myself, "wow".
Is that is what America is coming to? Class envy?
Sadly they never learned the Ten Commandments. What a world.
No more than the plastic cups, stirring sticks and little containers of half-and-half.
As compared to? I can’t recall the last time I tripped over a pile of them carelessly discarded by society...

poor people used to handle distribution networks delivering food and goods across the world and into your local store. Then rich people came in and f’d it all up.

San Francisco Bay coffee makes good Kcup coffee and the pods are compostable, if you care about that sort of thing. I use those because the coffee tastes good and they are relatively cheap on Amazon. I have been using an Aeropress lately with Black Rifle Coffee, but not because of any guilt. Good coffee.
They think their dollar should be stable, good luck with that.

my brother in law is 75 and he feels the same way, and has all his life. If you have a dollar and he has a dime, he’s sure you stole the other 90 cents from him.
My father in law also! the only wealthy people he liked were family. somehow, they deserved their wealth.

Funny thing is, they have refillable K-cups, so really it’s not the inventor’s fault. It’s the fault of all the consumers who are too lazy to use them.

Those refillable ones never work as well. I think it is because the mesh does not allow the water to hit the coffee with sufficient pressure. The K-cup only has the hole in the top and the small one in the bottom that the brewer makes when you load it. I wish the refillable ones worked as well. I’d be able to have some half-caff cups on occasion.
but not big giverment which creates money out of thin air, which increases aggregate demand, which increases the average level of prices.

I don't drink coffee but heat up a cup of water in the MW once in a while in the winter for some tea.
I live on a farm in a rural area and don't keep up with the latest gadgets. No need to.

It never does and they will never learn.
Well, they teach these kids self-esteem nowadays instead of economics and how to balance their checking account.
So they should at least "feel good" about being broke and stupid. 😂
