Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin of Michigan made her aide apologize for the parking in the wrong space. As you can see in this video, it was Slotkin herself her parked in that space yet she berated the aide and forced her to apologize. I guess apologizing is something beneath Congresswoman Slotkin.
PING!
whipping boy......
Yup, she IS a Democrat.
What? That’s a Democrat apology. “I apologize for you being dumb enough (fill in blank) and you must promise never to do that again.

Congressional aides know that it’s part of their job to take the blame for something that the highly-privileged ruling elite holy one did.
If only they would say the truth. Just for once.
You can tell the character of a person by how he treats those who can do nothing for him.
Term limits are a very good idea and should be implemented somehow.
From the film “Little Big Man”:
A Custer decision is never wrong.
Congresswoman Snottykins needs an attitude adjustment. Ideally one that comes next November.
Why do such morons continue to get elected? Because only morons would want the job??
“Term limits are a very good idea and should be implemented somehow.”
Without question. Also, there should be a national movement to demand the loss of almost ALL perks Congress-critters enjoy. Only those who actually want to do something positive should be attracted to that job. It should be difficult, toiling, underpaid, and have NO pension with the exception of whatever money the Congress-critter puts in to a 401K out of their own pay - with matching funds.
There are some Congressional people I respect, and I’m sorry this would affect them, but it has to be done. Congress has become a sick joke - filled with self-aggrandizing idiots.
Congress Critters come and go but the staff remains. They are the true power on The Hill. For a satirical look at how it works watch the old British sitcom "Yes Minister".
When President Reagan was recovering in the hospital from the Hinkley gunshot wound, Nancy caught him on the floor mopping up water from the pitcher.
His wife asked him what he was doing, and not being in bed. He answered "It's my fault the pitcher got knocked over".
The requirements and mindset of being a congressperson today seems as though it will attract a lot of psychopaths.
That series is/was top notch satire. Worth watching more than once.
Early life and education
“Slotkin was born in 1976 in New York City, the daughter of Judith (Spitz) Slotkin. She is Jewish. Slotkin spent her early life on a farm in Holly, roughly halfway between Flint and Detroit. She attended Cranbrook Kingswood School in Bloomfield Hills.
She received a B.A. from Cornell University (1998) and an M.I.A. from Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs (2003). In 2001, she completed a course in the Arabic language at The American University in Cairo.
Her early employment included: community organizer for Roca, Incorporated (1998-2000) and Swahili language translator for Harbor Area Early Childhood (1999-2000), both in Massachusetts; grant writer at Isha L’Isha (meaning ‘Women to Women’ in Hebrew) (2000-2001), and intern at the U.S. Department of State (2002).”
My opinion is that congressional term limits are the worst idea ever.
Congress is that last bastion of direct democracy that the people still control. Everything else, and especially the vast government bureaucracy, is completely out of control and supervision. This is what’s known as the “deep state.”
Congress already has given away power to the vast government bureaucracy who basically shape most laws via their own regulatory power. Judges and courts make law too. Limit congressmen to 6 or 8 years, and they become lame ducks and power will officially become a pathetic joke.
How about we first term-limit every government program instead? Unless reauthorized, all agencies dissolve and disappear after 10 years?
There's the tell.
The creators of the show understood the late James M. Buchanan (Nobel prize - Economics) & late Gordon Turlock’s - both of GMU Public Choice Theory of Economics. The creators worked a lesson in that hilariously into every episode. Some episodes its very obvious others much more subtle. Margret Thatcher’s favorite show!
