Love the photos! Certainly dinner is the most important meal in our household and it is a ritual with us. We take turns making dinner depending on our strengths. This week we’ve been trying to master pizza-making. He makes the sauce and toppings, I make the dough. We’re going on thirty years now so I think the author is on to something.

We raised our kids the same way. Food is consumed only in the kitchen area. No food allowed anywhere else in the house. The only “entertainment” we had in the room for a long time was a radio.

In a horrible way, so-called social media has created the condition where people can be together, yet apart. Each person lost in their own world on their smart phone.

My response to your post answers that. It’s intuitively obvious.

Just stop behaving as if every woman is a low-down dirty money-grubbing cheat and liar. FR men tend to act that way...in fact they pretty much arrogantly assume all on this forum are men (and white), so they post threads and replies about females feeling no compunction about ridiculous comments, be they insults or porno salivating.

Sorry I’m just venting again. But it’s true here and I get sick of it. A bit is expected but it happens a lot.
