10 minutes from me...
DelCo people are going to snap.
And people wonder why kids are growing up and becoming school shooters..look at what they are being taught in the school
I’m sure God won’t mind.
If you don’t want his blessing, then so be it.
Blessing withheld.
(At some point you may wish to reconsider...)
—but if not, that’s ok with Him...
Throwing God out of our schools has worked out so well (/s).
the principal got scared of one liberal asshole?
I thought the phrase was added in the 50s.
Right next to Swarthmore, home of Swarthmore College where last week a large part of the student body occupied the college president’s office demanding that two fraternities be thrown off campus as they were supposedly threats to the safety and well-being of all -the cancer spreads......
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
“God Bless America” two things they hate in that sentence.
I object to this vehemently! No news organizaion will print the name of the complainant or of the attorneys responsible so we can reply to the complaint. The Springfield Township school board has no fortitude to enter into a fight in court but the Springfield people do. This is happening all over the country and unless people start to stand up, we are lost. Stand up people.

The principle saying "God Bless America" in no way requires the students to do the same. And where's all this tolerance they keep lecturing US about?
OK, I’m not defending this, but I have a comment.
“God bless America” is not part of the Pledge; that is a separate issue. In my schools back when we NEVER said “God bless America” afterward.
At our Cub Scouts, sponsored by a church, they DID say “God bless America” afterward. I just figured that was their choice.
I don’t like that they want to cut out God (albeit it is mentioned in the Pledge), but it’s just another statement outside the Pledge, and I don’t think it’s standard anyway.
