Sarah Hoyt has yet to come to terms with the fact that it is her "born American in Portugal" civic nationalism that has led the United States to the brink of civil war:
But is it better if the rough music plays and civil war breaks out?
Civil war is not impossible. Despite the fact that were emulsified, red and blue living side by side (but not in harmony), civil war is not impossible. Its just not the civil war weve read about in history books, the stories of the grey and the blue and neat armies on the field.
Sure, sure, brothers fought on opposing sides and son against father. But it was still largely territorial. Terrain gained and lost.
If civil war comes, it will be a war of insurrection. Of many groups against many. Of balkanization. Of neighbor turning on neighbor. Of houses burning and corpses hanging from neighborhood trees. Over and over and over again, and vendettas tossed in.

Note, if you have mailed me asking to join the ping list recently, I am a little behind. I will get caught up soon.
More than a bit of truth here, thinking of Revolutionary War and Loyalists vs Revolutionaries, especially in the western Carolinas. Also Bloody Kansas in the lead-up to the US Civil War.

It is not nationalism that is leading to war. It is globalism that is leading to war against those who would destroy this nation.
I know Sarah Hoyt. She is a good American and great example of the bright side of immigration and, as I have posted elsewhere, I am not a big fan of immigration, legal or otherwise.
Vox is entertaining but bit of a nutball. He has written that the only real citizens are descendants of the ‘original’ founding generation of this country.
Civic nationalism works when there is an emphasis on making new Americans conform to an American culture and nationalism. But “Diversity” has poisoned this process.
Hi.
Between you and me. I hope to get off this planet without having to fill bodybags.
But, oaths are forever.

Will our posterity regret our restraint?
Our posterity is in the process of being indoctrinated into desiring enslavement.
I don't agree. There will be some of this nasty tribal warfare but entire states will also secede. There will be regions that claim sovereignty.
Hi.
“Will our posterity regret our restraint?”
Difficult question, for I am not a prophet.
Imho, if it all goes south they will regret living in caves.

I like a lot of the writers of Castalia House, John C. Wright especially.
I’m not sure any sort of widespread civil unrest is possible while the poorest people are the most likely to be obese and are the most entertained poor people ever. Also, our poor people are generally unused to hard physical activity outdoors and in all weather. Hard to imagine it happening while these conditions persist.

He lives in Italy, but writes a lot about American politics.
I enjoy some of his comic books, though. And I haven't read comics for years, but the idea of conservative themed comics seemed amusing, so I bought some, and they were pretty good.
His blog is interesting, he writes a lot. Even if only 1/4 of the pieces are on topics I care about that's usually ends up being 2 or 3 a week.
I have the same hope.
But I’m not counting on it happening.
Will our posterity regret our restraint?
A most significant question. Sadly, I think that yes, they will.
I regret our Greatest Generations restraint in the 60s and 70s.
Hey, there, nice cucking on Vox Day.
He's the one who wrote SJWs Always Lie.
Oh, btw, he's Native American by descent and lives in Europe.
So much for the "White Nationalist" smear.
Civic nationalism works when there is an emphasis on making new Americans conform to an American culture and nationalism. But Diversity has poisoned this process.
Vox Day also pointed out that "Civic Nationalism" fails because magic dirt is a myth.
It is globalism that is leading to war against those who would destroy this nation.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
