If civil war comes, it will be a war of insurrection. Of many groups against many. Of balkanization. Of neighbor turning on neighbor. Of houses burning and corpses hanging from neighborhood trees. Over and over and over again, and vendettas tossed in. More than a bit of truth here, thinking of Revolutionary War and Loyalists vs Revolutionaries, especially in the western Carolinas. Also Bloody Kansas in the lead-up to the US Civil War.

I know Sarah Hoyt. She is a good American and great example of the bright side of immigration and, as I have posted elsewhere, I am not a big fan of immigration, legal or otherwise.
Vox is entertaining but bit of a nutball. He has written that the only real citizens are descendants of the ‘original’ founding generation of this country.
Civic nationalism works when there is an emphasis on making new Americans conform to an American culture and nationalism. But “Diversity” has poisoned this process.

I like a lot of the writers of Castalia House, John C. Wright especially.
I’m not sure any sort of widespread civil unrest is possible while the poorest people are the most likely to be obese and are the most entertained poor people ever. Also, our poor people are generally unused to hard physical activity outdoors and in all weather. Hard to imagine it happening while these conditions persist.
