The Lexicon of the Left: Violence!
Me | 10/16/18 | Nomen Klatura

Posted on 10/16/2018 10:51:26 PM PDT by Nomen Klatura

I have been thinking for years about the language that the Left uses, such as "We will fight for _____", or "this is a struggle", or "you cannot be civil with...", or "fight in the streets", just to name some familiar and recent examples. The lexicon of the Left is clear and consistent - rational discussion is not tolerated. They don't value the dialectic. Heck, they don't even know what the dialectic is.

What worse, the Left doesn't understand what the Constitutional right to assemble and protest means. They think it means they can assemble to physically intimidate their opponents using mob action and mob violence. They forget or never learned that when the Bill of Rights was drafted, the only quick and effective way to disseminate key information about the abuses of the English king was to assemble and here a speaker explain and argue for change. The Left has distorted and misapplied this historical right and twisted into an anti-intellectual might-makes-right assertion of power. The Left is truly terrible.

By contrast, I think we do exactly the opposite on the Right. At least that's my impression. We put two opposing ideas into a discussion, we find the weakest and strongest points, we balance the pros and cons, and we apply concepts of free markets, free minds, and free people to figure out which idea is superior.

Challenge Leftists to rationally discuss the issues. Don't resort to their tactics. [Pro Tip: don't call names, don't comment on a woman's appearance or ankle size. Comment on why their ideas will diminish freedom, distort free markets, or lead to unintended consequences].

I've seen us do a 180 from "three strikes" laws in the 80's, to prison reform leadership now. We think stuff through and base our decisions on the proper principles. We don't base our policies on feelings. Our approach, the dialectic, will win in the end. It's going to be frustrating (and apparently dangerous), it will take time, and you won't get every non-player-character to rethink their pre-recorded illogical replies. But invite a Lefty to talk it through. Try to find a common point of agreement and build from there. Trust me, it's worth the effort.

I’d be violent too if my party’s top 3 candidates for 2020 was Crazy Bernie Sanders, Crazy Joe Biden and Pocahontas Warren.

An even closer look and you will see that the violence is predicated on the assertions that something is taken or withheld from them. They therefore have a victim mentality and feel justified at retaliation. So it doesn’t matter if you are a rich Hollywood Actor or a poor Mexican somehow the Republicans are out to take your rights away to whatever you feel you have a right to: like abortion etc. Now if you believed somebody was out to steal something from you you would strike out at them. Hence their rhetoric to “empower” the “disenfranchised” blah blah blah etc etc etc

In “toddler” terms, after the asking, begging, crying, and pouting doesn’t work...it’s time to tantrum.

Communist buzzwords. The sheep think it is pep rally speak, but it comes from the communist revolutionary playbook. A Constitutional Republic is the enemy of the Communist and Socialist Democrats.

Civics classes MUST be restored to curriculum! One fact that is unknown to many is that while the Constitution is literally ignored, most editions of literature books used in high schools and colleges contain writings by Marx and Engles.

Watch the ANTIFA attacks, this will all come down to the right to self defense. CCW applications will skyrocket.
