Josiah Zayner, 36, recently made headlines by becoming the first person to use the revolutionary gene-editing tool Crispr to try to change their own genes. Part way through a talk on genetic engineering, Zayner pulled out a syringe apparently containing DNA and other chemicals designed to trigger a genetic change in his cells associated with dramatically increased muscle mass. He injected the DIY gene therapy into his left arm, live-streaming the procedure on the internet.
The former Nasa biochemist, based in California, has become a leading figure in the growing biohacker movement, which involves loose collectives of scientists, engineers, artists, designers, and activists experimenting with biotechnology outside of conventional institutions and laboratories.

Longevity is the prize.
Gee Mom, thanks for the Xmas gift of a DNA kit!

What could go wrong?
I am NOT a science project!
>>Now it begins.
Nah. “it” is representative of the Transhumanist/Postgenderist mentality that’s been festering throughout the history of the progressive technocracy.
See Romans chapter 1.

“We climbed onward, searching,
always searching. Searching for handholds and footholds, for piton cracks and the right piton. And searching ourselves for the necessary human qualities to make this climb possible. Searching for adventure, searching
for ourselves, searching for situations which would call forth our total resources. For some it is a search for courage. Perhaps if we can learn to face the dangers of the mountains with equanimity, we can also learn to face with a calm spirit the chilling spector of inevitable death.”

YMMV!
Yeah—I don’t know how well this will actually work. I’ve seen the youtube video before.
We’ve had genetic engineering tools for a long time. While CRISPR/Cas9 is promoted as some kind of break-through, I think it is mostly hype. To be able to inject DNA and have it go into every cell—I just don’t think that will happen. The body has too many safeguards against foreign DNA—our passive immune system just will not allow it to circulate around the body without destroying it.
The guy doing the video might be a NASA biochemist, but I don’t think he’s taken all of the classes on genetic engineering. But he can make some catchy videos.
Victor Frankenstein, meet the Green Hulk.
Injecting one’s self with genetically modified DNA will do nothing. Now modify a retrovirus to carry modified DNA sequence into one’s own cells and splice in the modified sequence; then you’ve got something that can rewrite the code at a cellular level.

I’d settle for a Type II cure.
I believe that the Mark of the Beast, described in Revelation, will actually be more than a tattoo or a microchip (although it will have those elements or something akin to that).
It will probably also involve some type of "bio-hacking" injection or device that alters our humanity. These fools think they can play god, and become their own gods. They think they can simply reprogram their bodies and their brains, and become some sort of bastardized super machine with vast intellect and godlike powers. I got into a debate with a professor from Temple University who believed "bio-hacking" will also lead to immortality.
That may be one reason why God warns in the most dire terms that anyone who takes the Mark of the Beast will be condemned to Hell, forever - no "do overs."
Merry Christmas.
Amen.
Merry Christmas.
Does he oppose GMO foods?
After the injection, he slowly began his transformation into a familiar but inhuman creature known to many as a mussulman ...
>>designed to trigger a genetic change in his cells
Could this lead to a cure or another cause of cancer?

eXtreme steroids?
A. my gaydar needle is slammed at 11, and
B. It was for youtube, so to get hits, hell just take more steroids and work out more intensely
