First, some background information.
In early February 2017, it was reported that dozens of Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives had allowed four Muslim spies to have access to sensitive security information that they weren’t legally authorized to see, and had paid each of them a salary of $160,000 a year. The Democrats had ignored various red flags, such as their shady real estate dealings, massive amounts of debt, and criminal activities, because they did not want to be accused of “Islamophobia.” You can read about it here and here.
Then about two weeks later, we were given an update with new information: at the same time that these House Democrats allowed these Muslim spies to steal U.S. security secrets and paid them salaries of $160,000 a year, these Muslim spies accepted a $100,000 payment from an Iraqi politician. And again, these House Democrats looked the other way, because they did not want to be accused of “Islamophobia.”
In March 2017, it was reported that one of these Muslim spies had Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s email password at the same time that the hacked DNC emails were given to WikiLeaks. And yet again, these House Democrats looked the other way, because they did not want to be accused of “Islamophobia.”
Now for the new information: It is being reported that Democrats allowed one of these Muslim spies to use a government computer to wire $283,000 to Pakistan, because the Democrats did not want to be accused of “Islamophobia.”
So basically, these Democrats have knowingly and repeatedly allowed these Muslim spies to commit these crimes because the Democrats did not want to be accused of “Islamophobia.”
In my opinion, every one of these Democrats should be charged with treason.

A more likely reason these Awn brothers got such fat contracts from the Dems is once they were in the system, they found lots of juicy info which they knew they could use to blackmail Shultz and others.

The bigger scandal is that Shultz continues to hire and pay the chief of the Awans. This is nothing but bribe money to try and keep the Awans from turning on her.

Sounds like the Iwans were a natural fit for the Dems. The quote above could be about the Clintons.
It is not official wartime so a treason charge is untenable but there are plenty of other charges, sufficient, I think, that they can put these fellows away where the only damage they can do is Islamic recruitment of other convicts.
