Bampumim Teixeirais is a legal immigrant who was convicted of two bank robberies in Boston, Massachusetts. During both robberies, although he threatened to shoot people, he did not actually have a gun.
Normally, a person who is convicted of two bank robberies would spend quite a few years in jail.
But Teixeirais’s judge was social justice warrior Lisa A. Grant. And Judge Grant cares more about criminals than she cares about law abiding people.
Since Judge Grant cares more about criminals than she cares about law abiding people, she sentenced Teixeirais to a combined 364 days in prison for his two bank robbery convictions.
By giving Teixeirais such a ridiculously short sentence, Grant saved Teixeirais from being deported.
If an immigrant who is convicted of a crime spends 365 days or longer in prison, then after his sentence is completed, he gets deported. If he spends 364 days or less in prison, then after his sentence is completed, he gets to stay in the U.S. Judge Grant was well aware of this when she sentenced Teixeirais to 364 days in prison.
After Teixeirais got out of prison, he murdered two doctors in Boston.
These two murders are Teixeirais’s fault – but they are also the fault of Judge Grant.
Judge Grant cares more about criminals than she cares about law abiding people, and these two murders are the direct result of her choice to save Teixeirais from being deported.
Murder One in any jurisdiction.

Judge Lisa Anne Grant is the one who was appointed first. She’s the one who signed off on the deal that freed the accused killer. She was appointed to the BMC in March 2014.
In September, Deval appointed Lisa Ann Grant. (The difference — her middle name doesn’t have an “E” on the end.)
In case you’re wondering, Lisa Anne Grant is a good, solid moonbat. She gave $100 to the unindicted coconspirator, House Speaker Robert DeLeo, and $100 to disgraced ex-Lt. Gov. Tim “Crash” Murray, and $250 to bust-out state Attorney General “Marsha” Coakley.
Grant spent a year in Mexico at the National Autonomous University, worked for the Mass. Commission Against Discrimination, and was endorsed by BMC Judge Sally Kelly, who’s thrown cops out of her courtroom for carrying guns.
In other words, whatever the circumstances of her appointment, Lisa Anne Grant seems as qualified as anyone on the bench to cut foreign thugs like Bampumim Teixeira loose. She did not return an email asking for comment.

If I was a relative or hire of one or both of the doctors slain I would sue the Judge for wrongful death as her actions and pure negligence the crime to be committed. Based on the earning power of two doctors the judgement would have to be for say 10M?
How is it any different than GM knowingly put a car on the road with bad brakes resulting in a crash? Not like this judge did not know he was a criminal. I am sure his rap sheet spells out a picture of someone likely to be a repeat offender.
Once judges and city government officials start to have personal skin in the game, then this game will change.
It is my understanding that one reason for the success of the IRA under Michael Collins is that he made the war personal; that is, he personally identified the hierarchy of the Brits and personally reached out and “touched” them, making the cost of the war against Ireland costly to England. If the culture and legal war is to be waged effectively, his strategy must be considered an option.
