No this is the problem. The legal immigrants are not vetted.

The illegals already are criminals by sneaking in or overstaying visas.

But giving a green card to this individual, who had nothing, and who still has nothing to offer the country in either skills, capital, or good will, should never have been granted the green card.

He, and millions like him, have NO business being here in the US.

Our immigration system should deal with illegals harshly, but the other big problem is that any breathing person around the world is given residency without an accounting of what they bring to the United States.

This guy is and was, worse than worthless. Like millions of other legal immigrants.

We must become way more selective.
