By conventional standards of the rest of the world, there are virtually no poor people in the United States.
America is the land where the poor are fat and the rich are skinny.
In third world countries the poor are emaciated and the rich are fat.
Being poor in America used to mean having a black and white TV, now it means only having on a 38” big screen TV instead of a 60 in big screen TV and having an Obama Phone without streaming video.
Yeah, that’s why all these Americans are fleeing the country on rafts or climb fences to get out of all this deplorable poverty.
He needs to stand online for food in Venezuela. marxists starve their people to death. Of course he can take his Hillary bought and paid for jet plane to his Hillary bought and paid for dacha.
He’s apparently never been to basically any country in Africa, India, or most anywhere but Western Europe, USA, Canada, Israel, Japan, and Australia/New Zealand.
Bernie need to go to India or Guatemala and watch children eating out of garbage dumps.

One fact for Dumb@ss Bernie to consider: If your U.S. household income is at the established federal poverty guideline ($24,300 for a family of four), then you are in the TOP ONE PERCENT OF ALL HOUSEHOLDS IN THE WORLD. TOP ONCE PERCENT IN THE WORLD.
The “poor” in our country have totally paid-for healthcare (no premiums, copays, deductibles), get food stamps that can be used to buy unlimited junk food and can be used in restaurants, get free baby formula and other baby supplies, and the gravy train goes on and on and on.
I talked to the manager at my local Walmart Superstore. EIGHTY PERCENT of the customers are on food stamps (use EBT cards). What do I notice at this same Walmart: Grocery carts stuffed with junk food, bottled water, soda pop and candy, Baby Mamas with no wedding rings—but they do have expensive fake fingernails and hair weaves. Additionally, I would say 2/3rds of this crowd is noticeably overweight, and many are morbidly obese. Very few of them drive 15 year old P.O.S. vehicles, most of them drive fairly nice cars. Only in America!! In this country, the “poor” live like the middle class or better in most other countries.
