The poorest in America - possibly excepting Appalachans - are rich compared to the majorities in these two countries........
I believe it was Glen Beck who said that “If you could live under any country with a different economic system in the world, which one would it be? BUT, you must be born to the poorest person in that country.”
The purpose was to show that in the USA you could work your way out of that poverty, while in others you were stuck there.
