Second Amendment Sanctuary Cities; And, “Action Radio” in Action

Second Amendment Sanctuary Cities can become a reality even in socialist, rights deprived states like California

If socialist, leftist cities like San Francisco, Chicago, New York, and a bunch of others nationwide, can pass Sanctuary City laws to harbor fugitive illegal aliens from federal law enforcement, then why can’t cities, counties, and other entities under the oppression of unconstitutional gun laws, create Second Amendment Sanctuary Cities where no infringing gun laws apply?

if I can get enough people with the guts to do it on Staten Island in a park, with a big Sanctuary City sign, I will do it.

IIRC, isn’t there one of the Dakotas or adjacent states a “sanctuary state?”

As I remember, it declared that the federal government had no jurisdiction over weapons and ammunition produced entirely within the confines of its borders?

Was I dreaming?

Sanctuary Cities don't prevent Federal enforcement of immigration laws, they only refuse to cooperate with the Feds.

A Second Amendment Sanctuary City would be similar. The City could refuse to enforce laws such as standard capacity magazine bans, but that would not prevent the state from enforcing it within city limits.

Plus, you'd have to have gun stores and manufacturers agree to provide goods in direct violation of the law, which is a bit different from illegals who move themselves to a sanctuary city.

Yup, a state or two are currently litigating the issue (to wit “made in state, never left state, not subject to interstate commerce clause” state law).

That clause has be so misused by the Federal Government and liberals to rape and rob us of our individual freedoms. It was meant to reduce barriers that stifled inter-state trade and it has don’t only that which stifles it and abridges our personal freedoms immensely.

Our founding fathers NEVER intended this lunatic-run, invasive nanny state Federal government to become so powerful and pervasive throughout our lives.

Frankly, it is time to castrate it.

But the metal used to manufacture the tap used to thread the screw was from out of state, therefore...

That’s the kind of crapola that the USSC has shoveled.

It’s Staten Island. Most people there already have guns and will just tell DeBlahblah where to stick it.

True. many of my neighbors have businesses and so they own Glocks or other guns. And of course anyone involved with La Costra Nostra has a gun somewhere.

Taps are not used to thread screws, the tool actually used would be a 'die'.

I wouldn’t try this. Much as residents would like it, Staten Island is not, as you know too well, self governing. It does have its own DA and its ceremonial Boro President, but the NYPD still enforces state and city law. To be a sanctuary requires the local govt’s open participation. Given the Trump margin on The Island, the rest of the city might just be willing to let The Island go its own way.

you’re right. All it would do is increase the number of Italians in Rikers for a year. and cost us all our jobs. they will never let us go. They need us to pay off the Bronx welfare Folk

Yes, the tap is for the nut, my mistake, but you get the point.

“That clause has be so misused by the Federal Government and liberals to rape and rob us of our individual freedoms.”

The pinnacle of that is the _Raich_ SCOTUS case: they held that a private action, legal under state law and supervised by a doctor, could be violently suppressed by federal agents because it affected “interstate commerce” by _decreasing_ demand in an _illegal_ interstate market.

The standard of proof put to the government should have been show that irreparable harm was actually and provably caused by specific citations of FACT.
