Democrats fear another Trump trouncing

eaderless and lacking a strategy, top party officials worry they're not ready for Trump's first 100 days.

As Donald Trump’s inauguration draws near, Democrats fear they remain woefully unprepared to fight the new president’s agenda.

The party loses its standard-bearer once President Barack Obama leaves office, and the Democratic National Committee won’t get a permanent chairman and staff until March, two months into the presidency. That Democratic power vacuum has raised concerns about the party's ability to provide a united message — or even to stand up a centralized rapid response operation — for the president's first 100 days in office.

Their worst nightmare is that Trump, ever the showman, will define his opening act with little unified resistance.

“It's a very serious concern. I just went on TV twice today on Fox and MSNBC on the Cabinet appointments and I winged it,” said Bill Richardson, the former New Mexico governor and 2008 presidential candidate. “You need something right now. Trump every day is doing something outrageous. What do we do? Criticize everything he does? Hold back a bit? I know we need to develop an economic message but that's long term. We need something now. Most of the Democrats I talk to are down, and they're asking who's in charge.”

Individual elected officials, led by Senators Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and Sherrod Brown, have already signaled their intention to put loud and sustained pressure on the president-elect through a series of speeches, statements, TV appearances, op-eds, and on social media. But they are doing so without the benefit of any party-wide communication about a coordinated message behind their Trump barbs — the kind of guidance and direction so recently provided by Obama or Hillary Clinton and her campaign surrogate operation.

I would suggest that the Limpr-wristed pansies, cupcakes and snowflakes get themselves ready for a daily beating for the next four years.

And then there is the little fact Dems have to defend 25 Senate seats in 2018 without BO to carry them across the finish line like he did in 2012

The idea the Dems in the Congress are going to find it easy to oppose Trump might not be build on as strong a foundation as they think.

Rush remarked a few days ago the dems are no longer a national party considering over the last few recent years they have lost about 1500 seats federal and state wide and only control about 5 states. Come 2018, they have about 20 senate seats up for reelection.

With this in mind, they are powerless now, and will be worse off in 2 years if Trump is successful, especially if they keep up their current extreme negative strategies.

It’s just good to see this band of nutcases, fruits, snowflakes & commies be scared for once. I suggest they get used to it.

Interesting.

They are essentially admitting that everything was well coordinated in the past.

This appears to go beyond “we need a leader”.

IMHO Trumps inaugural speech will be a barn burner pulling the American Spirit back up into the light from the darkness to which the Marxist/Democrats confined it . On a par with Remember the Alamo, Remember the Maine, Remember Pearl Harbor and The Shining City on the Hill. Jus’ Sayin’!

How about cooperating for once with an agenda that is in the best interests of everyday Americans?

The solution is right in front of their faces if they simply admit that the last eight years have been wrong.

Dem-wit chaos revealed. As befuddled and incompetent as they are now, it is only slightly worse than if they actually had power.

Incompetency and malevolence defines the dem-wits.

DJT represents the polar opposite. Competence and Traditional American Values on steroids. Worlds are colliding.

These cupcakes don't know how to address Trump as he fights back. Years of bluffing their way past RINOs make this fight bewildering as Trump goes for the jugular time and again instead of wilting under their attacks. Media is missing it too as they made themselves irrelevant to 70% of the country.
