I really think Mike Pence will be the one running the country. He's experienced and will just keep Trump informed. Details(nuts and bolts) will not be the Trump's department. I see Pence holding the reins as the stagecoach moves along in the right direction. Trump will be riding shotgun like a bouncer in a night club. Trump needs the limelight so he can travel and be the Pied Piper of capitalism. If successful Pence will move seamless into the Oval Office after 8 years-maybe 6!

Sorry, I have to disagree. Trump will be the CEO in every sense of the word and will make all of the important decisions.
Pence may be a COO for implementing many things, but he will not be in charge. He will be very important as a go between from the Board room (oval office) to the back rooms of politics.
I agree that he will be first in line for POTUS in 8 years if he performs well and stays completely loyal in the process.
The main job of the President is to be America’s Cheerleader. Trump is up to the job and will do it well. I agree with you. Pence is clearly capable of handling the day to day and letting Trump be the public face of America.
Trump with show the way and Pence will give us the tools to Make America Great Again

I think, a team under God. Donald will have far more than Pence as advisor, of course. And wisdom is found in a multitude of advisors.
Donald brings the “HOPE” abd “CHANGE” elements into the picture. After 8 years of faux hopenchange, now we will get the real McCoy.
Pence certainly looked very good and spoke well in the campaign. I think he was a MAJOR asset for the victory.

For this kind of comment to be of any value it should be based on at least a minimum of research about Trump’s business style. He is by all reports a detail person who is aware of and sets standards for every aspect of his projects. He is not a Reagan who paints with a broad brush. Trump is a perfectionist with a keen eye for detail.

I think Pence will be invaluable because he knows how to get things done in Washington. But Trump will be making the policy calls.

6 years? Think of how an administration runs out of steam after 6 years. Think vulnerable Senate seats. Let’s say things are going good with the economy and Trump ‘thinks’ of resigning provided a gop congress is (still) in place. Give the next guy a fresh start to make his own mark. Good for 10 years. Bingo.
