Democrat Mary Ann Marsh (and others) lie about James O'Keefe being a felon
Fox News and myown good brain ^ | 10-25-16 | Self

Democrat apologist Mary Ann Marsh was on O'Reilly with Monica Crowley last night and lied about James O'Keefe being a "conviced felon" when asked about the Project Veritas videos.

Skip to 2:30 and watch how she delivers her prepared speech smearing O'Keefe.

This is at least the 2nd time I've heard this smear and I decided to "fact check" O'Keefe's legal record. Here are the facts, according to "The Hill" (no friend to O'Keefe):

"Conservative filmmaker James O’Keefe was sentenced to three years of probation, 100 hours of community service and a $1,500 fine after he pleaded guilty on Wednesday to misdemeanor charges stemming from his involvement in a break-in at Sen. Mary Landrieu’s (D-La.) office.

In January, O’Keefe and three others were arrested by federal authorities at Landrieu’s office on allegations of phone-tampering.

Prosecutors initially said they caught four individuals in the process of committing a felony, but the charges were later reduced to misdemeanors. O’Keefe got the toughest sentence. His co-defendants, Stan Dai, Joseph Basel and Robert Flanagan, each got two years of probation, 75 hours of community service and the same fine as O’Keefe."

I report, you decide. Is O'Keefe a "convicted felon"? Or is Mary Ann Marsh a flat out liar?

I'm no lawyer, but unless being arrested on a felony charge that is later reduced to a misdemeanor somehow constitutes being "convicted of a felony", Mary Ann Marsh flat-out lied. And Bill O'Reilly and Monica Crowley sat right there and let her get away with it.

This is how the left works. Come up with a damaging lie, spread it amongst their network via "journa-list" and other means and then launch a coordinated effor to repeat it with the intent of making people believe it is true.

Marsh is despicable, but this is what she does for a living. I am more upset at those who were not smart enough to call her on her lies.

Or am I wrong? I post this here as a vanity because I have not seen anyone challenge this tactic of trying to discredit James O'Keefe and thus his damning PVA videos.

Never mind the irony that the man he forced to quit the Clinton campaign, Robert Creamer, IS indeed a convicted felon who has served actual jail time.

I like Bill O’Reilly and especially his Talking Points. When Mary Ann Marsh comes on. I turn it off.

Monica Crowley’s OK.

I used to listen to her on the John Batchelor show (until I couldn’t take Batchelor any more).

When Trump takes office, I hope he gives O’Keefe a presidential medal of freedom for his work in exposing the corruption.

from his involvement in a break-in at Sen. Mary Landrieu’s

And even that wording is a real stretch. From what I remember, O'Keefe and his colleagues used the pretext of being phone repairmen to gain access during office hours to the Senator's office in order to conduct an undercover investigation. That's not a "break-in" unless all those 60 Minutes episodes are also "break-ins".

In reality, I am sure that every day undercover investigators are lying about who they are in order to gain access to various offices, homes, etc. Somehow the government has no problem with that, but does have a problem with a citizen doing the same thing.

The way in which governmental organizations lend themselves to the coverups of the corruption of politicians is yet another thing that we need Donald Trump to end in order to Make America Great Again.

Bill O’Reilly ought to have corrected this instantly. Bill O’Reilly is not on our side, neither is Fox News.

I don’t watch it - these talking people on TV do not have superior brain power over us just because they are glib talkers. We should not let them influence us by letting them into our homes via the screens.

If he was never convicted of felony or even charged with a felony, then he can not be a convicted felon.

Saw that. It’s the standard lyin’left and they all parrot the same BS.

To Special Report Bret’s credit he set the record straight on the panel yesterday when some lefty news chick repeated the same thing. She had been on before saying the same exact thing, this time Bret was ready for her.

Something happened to O’Really after he settled that suit halfway through George McFly Bush’s presidency, and his pandering for months until he was allowed a softball “interview” with the Fraud was the last straw for me.

freeandfreezing :" From what I remember, O'Keefe and his colleagues used the pretext of being phone repairmen

The last I knew, that's called "Trespass"
If the intent was to commit a crime, it is called "Criminal Trespass" .
Neither of them are felonies in this State, just misdemeanors.

I did email O’Reilly, not that I have any hope he will correct the record. You just really wish the other side, in this case Monica (who I really like and respect) would have been knowledgable enough to interrupt and stop Marsh fromp spinning out her false story.

I realize nobody can know everything, but heck if you know the other side is going to pass, you adjust your defense accordingly. We need to confront the left each and every time - they do this crap because it’s effective.

As stated above, the lying media and the Democrat spokesmen go to town on O’Keefe’s misdemeanor conviction while glossing over or failing to mention Creamer’s felony conviction and prison term. It is disturbing that Creamer’s spouse (US Representative Jan Schakowsky from the 9th CD in Illinois) was not prosecuted with Creamer. The fact that President Obama consulted with Creamer more than forty times in the Oval Office is the biggest scandal of them all!

LOL! Love it!

I tweeted Monica, maybe she’ll do something with it as she’s an honest reporter. O’Reilly, among other flaws, is lazy. He won’t comment on anything until “his staff” checks it out for him. Must have learned that a Haavahad.

Asking the following would have sunk Marsh like cement shoes. O’Reilly didn’t want to, and/or he’s a dullard.

“Whether Mother Teresa or Charles Manson recorded Democrats recounting their voting frauds and paying bums to start fights at rallies so they could smear opponents as violent, would that change one word the Democrat thugs said, or what they did? So why are you attacking the messenger instead of Hillary Clinton for deploying a dirty tricks squad?”
