Donald Trump steered clear of his characteristic bombast in responding to the massacre of five police officers patrolling a Black Lives Matter protest in Dallas on Thursday night, ditching the self-congratulations he put forth after last month's attack on Orlando's Pulse nightclub in favor of a somber statement lamenting national division and racial tension.
But while the presumptive Republican presidential nominee sought to avoid the appearance of nakedly capitalizing on the latest tragedy to boost his White House hopes, an upsurge in law-and-order sentiment may yet deliver him the presidency.
An eerie echo: To some observers, the potential fallout from the Dallas sniper attack — which was not carried out by demonstrators themselves, but apparently by a rogue suspect who expressed a desire to kill whites — evokes the political dynamics of a similarly turbulent period in American history.
Trump's likely Nov. 8 face-off against presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton will come 50 years to the day after Republicans — aided by what analysts dubbed a "white backlash" against civil rights demonstrators — posted massive gains in the 1966 midterm elections, picking up 47 House seats, three Senate seats and eight governorships....

Count on it. By October it will look as if Trump is running unopposed.
If it had been a rogue white, all white society would be guilty.
IOW, a knee-jerk, not a sensible and rational response to conditions and events.
Liberals have been here before, the last time Black racists got off the plantation with the call of scapegoat and “kill whitey.” If the white vote comes together, they don’t have a chance.

We have been paying reparations for slavery in the form of Welfare, food stamps, public housing, free medical care.
Blacks from Jamaica and dark skinned people from India come here and are successful almost immediately, they deal with Cops and with white people without a fuss. So Hellary I think you made a big mistake blaming thousands of Blacks killing Blacks since Obama has been Presidents on us white people.

Trump should show up at the funeral, offer to pay to have those officers names inscribed on the memorial in DC. That would really show bammy who is presidential.

It won’t be the shootings that cause the backlash, it will be the reaction to the shootings: ignore the victims, blame the victims, more demonstrations, more racism, more media spin, more hate directed at the middle class and “white” American culture. That’s what is causing the backlash.
White society is still guilty...just ask Hillary.
