Long-time Democratic insider, and current CNN political correspondent, Bob Beckel predicted that "Hillary will be elected president even if she's in jail on election day. The American people don't care about emails or computer security. Their expectations are that those they elect to lead them will rise above a literal compliance with the law in order to more effectively wield the power that is necessary to govern the nation."
Beckel discounted the possibility that Clinton's legal troubles would pose any impediments to her assumption of the presidency. "I'd say that by winning in November she will have been effectively 'pardoned' for any and all crimes by the voters," he contended. "In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if, at that point, President Obama were to officially pardon her. Failing that, she could always pardon herself as she would be entitled to do as president under Article II of the US Constitution."
Hillary for President campaign manager Robbie Mook confirmed Beckel's take, saying "this election will be all about trust. Who will voters trust to govern them? A billionaire businessman with no government experience? Or a woman who has occupied high positions within government over the past two decades, where she has demonstrated a nimbleness and agility to outfox every attack against her from her political foes? We see that as a 'no brainer' of a decision and are confident of victory in November."

Maybe not,win.
But they will vote for her if shes in jail. They’d vote for her if there was a photo of her eating a baby. Theyd vote for her if she was dead.
This, kids, is what decades of drug abuse will do to your thinking.
My BIL (and his Jewish wife, a retired teacher & ardent NEA supporter) say an indictment will not change their vote. So I think it’s safe to assume neither would a conviction.
Hillary is not what’s wrong with this country. She is merely a manifestation of the cultural and moral ROT that pervades our society. And there is some in every family.
She might actually be elected from jail, in all seriousness.
That, plus the record of the last three Presidents should light a fire under everyone to disempower the ever-more-centralized federal government and return it to its proper, Constitutional size.
That way it can concentrate on the few things it is actually lawfully empowered to do - protect the borders, keep a Navy (not a standing army, and not 900 military bases around the world), coin money (not pawn the job off to the private Federal Reserve), deliver the mail, fund itself with tariffs (not taxes), and guarantee that the individual states do not infringe the rights of citizens.
Bingo. She and Trump are both symptoms of the same amoral strategic process:
Evidently to some folks "conservatism" these days means little more than not having one's pursuit of hedonistic and perverse pleasure taxed; and not having to share the fruits of cultural perversity with non-Roman citizens.
Meanwhile Putin, knowing what the strategic end result will be, watches and quietly laughs at the circus.
by winning in November she will have been effectively ‘pardoned’ for any and all crimes by the voters,”
Hadn’t heard that argument before, but he’s probably right. It will be a great argument if she is elected for Obama to pardon her without further legal actions. by the DOJ .
In fact, I expect DOJ to put off anything like public indictment or report until after the election.
