My BIL (and his Jewish wife, a retired teacher & ardent NEA supporter) say an indictment will not change their vote. So I think it’s safe to assume neither would a conviction.

Evidently to some folks "conservatism" these days means little more than not having one's pursuit of hedonistic and perverse pleasure taxed; and not having to share the fruits of cultural perversity with non-Roman citizens.
