BOB BECKEL: Just remember that Fox did buckle to Trump in another debate. Rupert Murdoch has been against Trump from the beginng. In the beginning he came out against Trump. Now he says who wants to meet one one-on-one with somebody, a CEO to CEO.

Beckel said this on CNN last night at the ten o’clock hour. Someone on their panal said that Ailes has been very sick for about a yr and a half. IOW, Ailes has not been able to lead. Don’t know who has been leading, if any of this is true.
I don’t know who has been leading, but that response from Fox about Trump and meetings with Putin etc. was about as childish as it gets. The person who wrote and sent that should be fired.
I don’t watch these shows. I have seen Beckel in clips linked to here.
He seems horrible in every way.
These media are all corrupt and horrid, brain rot for the most part.
It is interesting to see how Beckel is telling us how Trump is the establishment’s candidate.
It’s clear Murdoch, Ailes and Trump are all in on it.
Trump is their guy.
Cruz is not and this is meant to 1) take down Cruz, 2) boost ratings.

Cruz has challenged Trump to a debate, anywhere, any time, mono on mono. That’s a great idea..... no moderator... just the two of them with Mics and cameras and let them hash this thing out.
There is really nothing left to debate.
We’ll find out. If Trump comes back to the table and does the debate, we’ll know it was a publicity stunt.
I think there’s plenty to debate..... Just the two of them. No moderators asking loaded questions. Let’s see who is the best man, and who is most prepared and ready to be president.
what new information could come from such a debate?
we already know Cruz is a great debater.
we already know their stands on just about everything.
It would just be a rehash of topics already covered in depth.

Other billionaires.
Who are Ailes and Murdoch?
Other billionaire business men.
Do Ailes and Murdoch and Trump go off half-cocked?

I say they do back to back 30 min speeches to the same crowd. The debate format favors Cruz, Presidents however don’t need to be great debaters. Just great negotiators.
Has anyone else made the same observation that Trump is a lot like Gordon Gecko, in the movie Wall Street? Trump’s hero is Carl Icahn. Anyone that has had dealings with him know that he and Trump are alike. Icahn is a ruthless hostile takeover artist who has been responsible for the loss of thousands of jobs. Some people admire him, as well, because he achieved the end results - destroy companies and gut them and make a profit for yourself. A business plan that made Michael Douglas’ role as Gecko famous for the quote “Greed is Good!”

Trump as a no-show allows Fox moderators to focus on Cruz and take him out.
Trump reappears next debate as triumphant.

He is also hiding behind the RNC skirt to refuse a debate with Cruz alone.
Well, it’s obvious that the old Ailes is long gone. The network has taken a nose dive into MSNBC territory. Too bad, but it’s over. Hope they are all saving their big fat paychecks, cause they will need it when they hit the wall like MSNBC.
