I agree with Gates!
I say we start by confiscating all his filthy capitalist lucre and distribute it to those poor minority Americans who have less than 100 cable TV channels.

When he decided to create his foundation guess who he hired? Unbelievably, he hired former Clinton people who **educated** him in the ways of the world.
He is now a Clinton bot and has bought into all their crap.
Of course Bill Gates is not going to give away all his money. There is simply no orderly way to scatter that much money over a short period of time, and the Gates Foundation could be working day and night to distribute all assets, and it would not be gone in Bill Gates’ lifetime. Not even sizably reduced.
That said, there is something akin to guilt that pervades the conscience of those who have come into a great deal of money, it need not be even so much as a billion. Earning and keeping great wealth is a skill set not equally shared by all people. This is not a problem if those who falter in application of those skills would not start imploring all others to ALSO give up their accrued wealth. And the manner in which they do that is to demand government take the recently-acquired wealth away.
THEY will never miss any meals.
Gates and Buffet have strategically sheltered their wealth in the Gates foundation. They get to avoid taxes and then spend this money to drive zero population growth agendas. Finally, they get to lecture us peasants on how we need to embrace the oligarchy/elitist vision for us and them. They are both the poster children for billionaires that exempt themselves from any repercussions of the global social experiments they shape and run out of boredom and ego stroking.
If only Climate Change could save us from Socialism.... We could invent more bad data.

Their children also get to pull down big salaries and benefit packages by working for said foundations, but of course people like Gates and Buffett “are not leaving their wealth to their children.” WE KNOW, YOU ARE PASSING IT ALONG TO THEM NOW AND IN THE FUTURE THEY WILL LIKELY CONTROL THOSE FOUNDATIONS AND ALL THE MONEY.
Agree with Gates that the most important thing today is to cut the cost of energy to at least half the cost of cheapest coal/natural gas. Why? It was cheaper energy via the steam engine that sparked the industrial revolutions of the 19th century, It was still cheaper energy byo the internal combustion engine/oil plus electricity that sparked the big technological developements of the 20th century. Success in the 21st century requires still cheaper energy.
