Looks like Bill is following the Warren Buffett model — “I made my money under capitalism; now screw everyone else. I’ll try to look like a defender of the poor by advocating Socialism.”

Usually, the uber-rich favor socialism as a way of actually protecting their wealth through govt cronyism.

Look at the environmental records of communist nations, or walk through Europe and see the garbage thrown out onto the landscape, and then think again about whether socialism has the capacity to ‘save the planet’. Maybe go visit Chernobyl while your at it.

That type of question could be easily asked with the same hope of a real answer as nearly any other question about the goals and claims of socialism.
