The Corrupt Federal Government

Well the left looks at issues that the rest of us currently look at and are concerned with and think it's a witch hunt, or partisanship. But for many of us who simply want a government that's competent, accountable, open,and ethical we look at things like Benghazi, the IRS targeting scandal, the DEA, the Secret Service, and Planned Parenthood- not to mention the VA, and we know how sad of a shape everything is in today. Most people in the country regardless acknowledge that something is wrong. They just don't necessarily know what. Well, the "something" may not be all wrapped up in what I'm talking about today. But nevertheless, I will discuss Hillary at the Benghazi hearing, some news on DEA officials that might make you lose your lunch or dinner, as well as the IRS and maybe even Planned Parenthood- slightly good news there. That's on American Faith Today at 4:30 Eastern time and archived afterward.

Unconstitutional federal acts and departments = tyranny.

Federal government tyranny = corruption.

The core issue with the feds is THE CONSTITUTION.

As Dirty Harry said, “When it comes to any act of the federal government, you only have to ask yourself one question: ‘Is it constitutional?’ WELL IS IT PUNK????”

An alcoholic thinks he is living a normal life. Lying, cheating politicos think they are too. It becomes so bad they cannot even envision how to think differently. I think that is where we are with the Dems especially, but also including the Rino and Uniparty thinking Republicans. Then throw in all those hidden bureaucrats and we have a rotten system in place for now. How to change that is the question.

Anywhere there are democRATS, corruption follows. Where there are black democRATS the corruption is worse because they can use the charge of racism to deflect the exposure of that corruption and it gets worse. To date, that corruption has not been dealt with effectively enough to repair the damage that has been done.

Obastard, again under the color of racism has led corruption on a scale that was unimaginable before.

Hillary, while corrupt long before the emergence of Obastard, now feel free to plumb the depths of corruption beyond what we have experienced with Obastard, and use the sexism card to escape. Again, to date, Hillary has never been held to account for her crimes and malfeasance.

True, government is corrupt, but we, the voters, do not seem to care. We keep re-electing corruption. Guess we like the freebees and goodies over truth and decency. Sad.

It starts at the state level IMO. Outside the limitations of the Constitution, the states, not the feds, are sovereign, They have to embrace that and stand against all unconstitutional federal acts.

Outside the limitations of the Constitution, the feds are illegal and the states are sovereign.

That needs to be understood and states need to act accordingly.

All powers not enumerated in the constitution to the federal government are reserved for the states or the people.

hence the people are sovereign.

Those who crave and those who wish to enlarge their power have, I hate to say it, but done a masterful job of creating a lot of apathy. For those who aren’t apathetic, there are many who are ignorant. I do think it’s a little better at the “local level” or “citizen level” than it used to be in terms of people waking up. But unfortunately, we haven’t reached enough people yet. But there are many who continue to do their part to try.

The precise language of the Tenth Amendment is “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

There is no provision in the Constitution that directly binds individuals, except for 13th Amendment against individuals owning slaves. Other than the prohibition on owning slaves, the feds have NO Constitutional power over individuals. The Constitution is an issue between the states who ratified it and the federal government which the Constitution created and under which the feds are bound.

Meanwhile, the people exercise their political power upon their own state. That is our decentralized republican form of government.

It is the people THROUGH THEIR INDIVIDUAL STATES who now need to stand up against and nullify the unconstitutional acts of the feds which by definition are acts of tyranny.

I was thinking about what would happen if we did a survey according to the 10 commandments. Love God? White collar crime? Lying? Sexually active outside of marriage? Wanting what your neighbor owns? Putting down your parents? Taking things that are not yours (including test answers)?

Funny thing, Jesus talked about the Pharisees being hypocrites because they put more laws on the books than God and didn’t keep them. Gee, what part of our government does that remind me of?
