After last week’s Republican debate we saw poll after poll validate Donald Trump’s candidacy and his large lead over the rest of the field. Nevertheless, these polls were not taken inside the Beltway. The “experts” in politics, the people who want to describe events to eye witnesses, saw the evening very differently and were not hesitant to pontificate on the REAL results – the ones we are not quite smart enough to understand.
One of my favorite books is Victor Navasky’s The Experts Speak published by Random House in 1998.
Navasky, a former editor and publisher of The Nation, used his considerable research skills to shine a spotlight on some of the more ridiculous and pompous asses who were called “experts” in various fields. We are still plagued with “geniuses” like this today so with a nod of gratitude to Mister Navasky let’s borrow his spotlight and see what today’s political “experts” said about Donald Trump’s performance.
National Review’s “expert” Rich Lowry:
“Trump lost … Almost everyone else did well.”
“Trump lost, beginning from the third-party question right at the start. He had any number of moments that were the worst moments he has had in the campaign. When he stuck with his shtick it was jarring on that stage, and when he tried to sound like a politician—talking of how he evoked on issues and in his closing statement, for instance—he sounded less assured and deft than the real politicians.”

There are no experts in this area. The so-called experts are political hacks who cannot see beyond their own prejudices. They have no idea what will happen; they know only what they hope will happen. They depend upon short memories.

They are tired of the Reids; Peloskis; Boehners; obumas; bushes; Clintons; the Washington cartels; the lobbyists; and they have someone who is not P.C. and will say it like it is and they are see the curtain being drawn back so they can see what is really going on...
Instead of breaking away from Trump, there's more coming to the cause...you can hammer them all you want, it doesn't matter, they are on a mission and they are going to win....
I agree, but I wish Trump would concentrate more on the enemies within our country. This would be the Rats and Rinos who have perpetrated great wrongs against our nation. He should name the worst of them and ignore the least(Kelly and Wallace). Trump has the power and wealth to be a great Crusader.
