Today is tomorrow; there are no more tomorrows, I learned that express in the Marine Corps many years ago. It reminded us that some days bring us to decisive points in history. In terms of the future of the Republican Party Today is tomorrow, and what a small band of men and women do this morning will determine whether we as a nation can continue to have a true two Party political system or not.
The stage for this crucial moment in history has been set by the fecklessness of the current Speaker John Boehner and his cohorts in leadership positions. Over the past six years, to the great consternation of rank and file Republicans, they have moved closer and closer to the Democrat Partys positions. Not even the historic victory delivering total control of Congress to Republicans has changed the minds and hearts of the Republican leadership.
On the contrary they have brazenly lied to conservatives and mocked them both behind their back and face to face. Boehner has forced this showdown on us; now we can only watch and pray that God will protect America one more time.
Todays vote for Speaker can bring us one of three possible outcomes. Only one will signal the continuation of Americas two Party system of government; the other two will bring either immediate death to the Republican Party or a slow strangulation of the once powerful alternative to socialism.
In the best case somehow a conservative will be elected Speaker and the Republican Party will become the...

I know my congressman is dead electoral meat if he votes for him. I’ll give his Republican opponent money to primary him. Barring that, I’ll vote for the Democrat by damn....I don’t, won’t tolerate traitors any more.

Absolutely true. Unfortunately the Republican base just can't handle the truth. It is being routinely and systematically deceived on a grand scale.
They are one, a Uniparty of near identical interests.
There is a natural opposing interest, a second party right before our noses. It is called the states. Return them to the senate to restore republican freedom.
Boehner has co-opted our rep and now he comes out to the Townhalls and just basically lies to us. Its sad.
Washingtonians
This is the moment of truth, a winner take all situation, if boehner is reinstated they win and “We The People” lose again, the 2013 election cycle will have been in vain, the progressive liberal democrat communists along with their Rino and MSM minions will have free reign and Party Hardy, I will never get used to it, third party here I come.
Opps 2014 election cycle...
It is like for the new party we need a Plank that lays down an anonymous vote for speaker.
New Plank for the “Tea Party”
1. House Votes for the speaker WILL BE DONE by ANONYMOUS Ballot of the House Members.
2. It Takes three or more house Members to Nominate anyone who is running for the speaker position.
3. If there is a tie there will immediately be a runoff between the top contenders until a leader is selected my simple majority of the house member anonymous vote.
The Founders were very high minded and generally pleaded that political parties not form.
However, they muffed an understanding of human nature. And an oligarchy of two parties was pretty well cemented by the method of determining an elected president.
This is where I could wish the US system was like Israel’s to the extent of being able to negotiate party coalitions from smaller parties. It would need a constitutional amendment to do it, however. And there are too many established interests to have much chance of doing it any time soon.
This “Bolshevik/Menshevik” system stinks.
Members of Congress need to mount their mail trucks and start delivering mail in order to exercise basically the only domestic power that the Founding States constitutionally granted to them.
My congress-critter (Westmoreland) was getting hammered before today on booting boehner. Well, he voted for him and now he’s getting his @$$ tore up on his facebook page.
I think the only thing that will get his attention is to primary him and there’s a bunch of folks talking that up. I plan on supporting them however I can.
