OWEN COUNTY, KY (FOX19) - Nicki Sullivan says her child, designated male at birth, has always identified herself as female. After seeking advice from GLSEN, a gay lesbian and straight education network, last Monday Nicki's 7-year-old daughter Ella made her identity public.
"She came back Monday as a girl. New teacher, new wardrobe, new backpack, completely changed. She was introduced as a new student, Ella Grace,” explained Nicki Sullivan.
Sullivan says over the last week Owen County Elementary School has been more than accommodating to her transgender 7-year-old daughter Ella providing a unisex restroom and protecting her from potential bullying.
"They've been supportive. There hasn't been any issues with the school at all,” said Sullivan.
But parents of Ella's 2nd grade classmates are concerned.
"I've told my son to be nice when he sees this boy. I've told him to never refer to him a girl because that is not what he is,” said Caynah Lindsey....

The “mother” has some severe problems. The school going along with it is just sick.
This silly new “my kid is a transgender” bull**** is the new Münchausen syndrome. These children should be taken away from their sperm and egg donors until their donors are given parenting classes and are cured of this mental disorder.
The disgusting type of gender bending has been given legitimacy by hussein and his henchmen. When Ronaldus Maximus was in charge, this stuff simply didn't happen. Back then, America's Biblical-based values, as envisioned by the Founders, reigned.
My 1 year old growls at times. I fear she may be a puppy trapped in girls body. Should I rename her Fido and accommodate her lifestyle?

My son just declared himself a truck. I’m off to buy him four new tires tomorrow and I expect the school to provide a parking space.
This 7 year old needs to be removed from the home IMMEDIATELY..what is taking place is child abuse plain and simple..like I believe that a 7 year old would say “I dont feel like Im a boy Im really a girl” please..that child is being force fed that crap by parents who are obviously commie liberal douche bags
Now all the other kids have to refer to him as “her” causing confusion to all the other children. And are the mother and the teacher going to be the mother hens protecting this child from being called by the wrong pronoun?

Libertarians (the actual ones, not annoying hipsters who hate the label “conservative”) are just fine with this, because stopping liberals from engaging in this nonsense can only be done via a government or a militia at the point of a gun.

society uses shame and sometimes ridicule to preserve the norm. Those outside the norm are often teased and mocked, sometimes rightfully and sometimes unrightfully.
The anti-bullying laws will censor all of that peer pressure that this boy’s peers would normally dish out.
I’d never considered it before (when the anti-bullying movement was ramping up — heck, who doesn’t want to put a stop to bullying?), but the anti-bullying laws may very well end up being little more than the type of PC-censorship that is restricting our 1st Amendment rights day in and day out, which is proving to be one of the grossest enabling forces to allow perversion and deviancy and criminality to flourish.
Of course, the worst enabler here was this boy’s mother. How this is not considered a form of child abuse is beyond me. Actually, I mean that rhetorically. It was moral relativism and the celebration of diversity that got us here.
Definitely felony child abuse. This mother and her unindicted co-conspirators in the government just destroyed this boy’s life.
That’s exactly what the anti-bullying campaign is about. It is about select protected classes, and certain groups with initials that remind me of a BLT are behind this movement that they want made into law.
I was bullied as a teen by an obnoxious classmate, and I would not be considered one of the protected classes. Little Eli would.
What they are doing to this precious child is abuse, pure and simple. That poor little boy. I am just sick.

7 years old and this is not child abuse? So, which is going to be worse for this kid? Identifying as a “girl” and getting mocked, or changing his mind and having to live it down for the rest of his life?
These parents are the ones doing this. Is she a lesbian? I would not doubt it.
