I’m finding its the moms who are the ones pushing this trannie stuff on their children. The dads are raely mentioned in stories like this.
If a child is 7, he or she is not old enough to make a decision like that, alone. The parents are enabling him/her, for whatever reason.

It's only a matter of time before the parents seek hormone treatments for the child. This will permanently feminize him. They will say that it's to help him socialize as the female he is inside, to help him fit in and not be a social outcast. But I don't buy it. I believe it's because they prefer a pretty daughter to a hulking tranny son. They do that to him when he's pre-pubesecent there is no going back, ever. And that is abusive.

Are you trying to force a choice on him! Truck make is a continuum! He might want to get his oil changed at a Valvoline center instead of a Quaker State! Why are we imposing our societal norms on our trucks?

I would agree with the libertarians in that public schools must be eliminated, as they are infested with liberals and unions. Anyone who has their kid in a public school is, quite bluntly, an idiot.
But what is the libertarian response to someone trying to push this crap in a complacent private school, even if the private school doesn’t take taxpayer money?
A different school, a new school or a homeschool.
As with Christmas pageant controversies that are as predictable as the sunrise, the instigators are assuming that the school officials and many go-along-to-get-along types will side with them in order to preserve the calmness of the herd.
Isolation and ostracization that cannot be fought with legal threats is what these sociopaths fear most. The school may bend over backward to ‘accommodate’ them but they can do nothing about an empty classroom except for a he/she. When enrollment falls the panic well and truly sets in because that is where the funding is. This is why school is called off for a dusting of snow or even rain - indulgent parents keep their kids home for ‘safety’ reasons and the school must report attendance below a certain threshold as non-attendance i.e. closure which affects their funding.
The point, as usual, is that liberals care more about money than any pathology.

Let me know when you find an actual libertarian arguing against crap like Lawrence v. Texas. The libertarian case against sodomite marriage still results in heterosexuals and sodomites being seen as equal under the law by government. For libertarians, as long as deviancy is sanctioned only by private institutions and not by taxpayers, they are okay with its legality. A kid born in San Francisco would be forced to live with deviants under libertarian rule.
Don’t believe me? Go argue that homosexuality should be legislated against on any libertarian forum (such as the Daily Paul, mises.org, /r/ libertarianism).
