Are you seriously giving out assignments? Do your own homework.
Read your own post, you first say that I don’t know your opinions, then you critique me for saying I don’t know your opinions. This isn’t about YOUR position, this is about the libertarian movement at large and self-described libertarians. You don’t get to make your own special definition of a word and then force everyone else to accept it.
Mises, Lew Rockwell, Murray Rothbard, Reason magazine, Cato Institute (they’ve actually submitted amicus briefs supporting sodomite marriage), both Pauls, Andrew Napolitano, John Stossel, Penn & Teller, none of these support bans on sodomy. Are these No True Libertarians to you? (I respect some of their works on economics, they’re just too concerned with being abstract to recognize that deviants can use libertarian ideas to justify their deviancy.)
The only self-described libertarian I know of who does support a ban on sodomy is Gary North, and libertarians don’t seem to like him beyond his views on economics. He’s so radically different from other libertarians that it doesn’t make sense to call him a libertarian. Hence, “annoying hipster too concerned with the label he calls himself”.
If you want to show me an example of a libertarian movement which wants to ban sodomy, you could do that quite easily. You’re more interested in being a special snowflake, though, so go live with your special opinions while the rest of FreeRepublic actually works on solving real issues.
