RE :”The president's triumphal tone suggests that this is self-evidently good news and reason to celebrate the success of his health care law. He says that candidates from his party should be proud of the law and defend it. But that's not likely to happen, and the reasons are deeper than disputes about how many people actually signed up through a health care exchange.
The first is that many people are finding out that the insurance they bought through an exchange doesn't really ensure they'll get medical care. “

Who said anything about medical care?

This is about being *covered*

Now those insurance companies cant drop me.
Unless my employer drops that company, but that would be all their fault.

Obama’s motives are pure as snow, well slightly dark snow.

Unfortunately it does seem like he won the ACA. I mean it would be nice to think that the Republicans are going to get rid of it next year, but with Obama having VETO power, I doubt that will happen. 2016 is unknown at this point so who knows. Evil always win...maybe not in the end, but it seems to be lately.

History has been filled with clowns like this.
History records that their popularity ends, too.

If they are lucky it ends without them hanging by their toes from piano wire off a lamppost in a public square.

I am rarely in agreement with this radical Left Marxist on anything.

But he does have a point: Elections (even if stolen) have consequences.

What did the voters THINK was going to happen turning over the presidency and both houses of Congress over to the Democrats?

Nationalized health care insurance has been part of the Democrat Party platform and agenda since the days of Harry Truman.

The “voters” thought it was a wonderful idea for everyone to have healthcare, that it was only fair. They just didn’t think they would have to pay for it or that it would affect them.

Defund all of the usurper's and the Senate's pet projects now, starting with the Affordable Healthcare Act Tax That No One Can Afford, the Bureau of Land Management Confiscation and Redistribution to Political Cronies, the Department of Education Indoctrination, the Department of Homeland Security Fascist Control, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives Deliberate Abridgement of the Pursuit of Life, Liberty, and Happiness, and the National Security Domestic Spying Agency.

Hell, defund 'em all and put the funds to rebuilding our military, begging those good men who were purged to come back after we kick out all of those who have no place in the military. Arm our Soldiers and Marines with all those cool toys the alphabet agencies have acquired. If those nitwits calling themselves agents want to play soldier, let 'em do it like real men, then pull our troops home and put them on a detail to secure the border while rounding up and deporting every one of the 30 million illegals squatting in our States. It worked for Eisenhower. It'll work again. If Mexico barks about injustice, quote their constitution to them and dare them to try something. I'll bet the Mexicans blink first.

He’s right about the stages of grief, but it’s the Demagogic Party that’s stuck on denial. I’d say, the Demagogic Party and the media shills, but I didn’t want to be redundant. Thanks Starman417.

Obama did win. I firmly believe that if you handed power to the GOP as it’s currently constituted, they’d keep obamacare, as long as they could avoid blame.

I agree — Obamacare won't go away, but I don't hold your pessimistic view about the ultimate triumph of evil. Sometime soon, the tyrants in Washington will get their just desserts. It's just that it is taking longer than we would like because God is far more patient than us mortals. He is giving them an opportunity to repent. Perhaps some of them will, but I expect most will not. I believe that one day, those who do not repent will meet their end and that end will not be pretty.

"I mean it would be nice to think that the Republicans are going to get rid of it next year, but with Obama having VETO power, I doubt that will happen. 2016 is unknown at this point----"

And even in the unlikely event the GOPe wins the presidency and both houses of congress in 2016, the law and its bureaucracy will be so firmly established come 2017 that it will be the only game in town and will only be fixed into single payor, not repealed. No one on this site really expects the GOPe to grow a pair, do they?
