In the last year there have been a lot of conservative rumblings against the new progressive education agenda called Common Core. This is yet another in a long line of new progressive initiatives since they created modern government education a century ago. The last was Outcome Based Education, which as usual failed to produce increased learning or test scores unless the tests were dumbed down. You say that it was a failure, the progressive left views this a success. The goal of American government education has never been about learning, it’s been about indoctrination. It’s about separating the next generation from their parents, God and history.

The system keeps turning out people who are incapable of thought and completely incapable of supporting themselves or taking their place as anything but consumers in this society!
Even without the ideology it looks like it was designed to create non thinking morons who just ask the nearest “authority figure” to tell them what to do.
NEA union only exist to support more dues paying “teachers” and continue the dumbing down of students for easier assimilation into communism bump.

Common core will make zombies and idiots and slaves of those involved with this corrupt, deceitful and worthless so called educational program. It is a disgrace to our nation.

Thanks for posting that chart. That’s more than ample proof that folks today should be home schooling or enrolling their kids in a quality private school.
Public schools have become nothing more than indoctrination centers for the Fed Gov.
In thirty years we’ll still need smart people to lead this nation. God help us if the public schooled kids of today are in charge.

Public education, for the convenience of TEACHERS, has leap-frogged absolutely everything that is necessary for ‘understanding’ and real knowledge!
